Same event with Natalie at ext. 221 and the meeting with "the Management Team". I always want to call people back because I'm polite, but wow, I'm so glad I looked it up first!

I received a message from Mathew from Banker's Life and Casualty in Las Vegas. He said that he saw my resume on Hot Jobs and wanted me to call him back to that we could set up an interview on Monday with his management team. I do not have my resume on ANY websites, as I have an amazing job that I love for the last 3 years. I checked to see what this "Hot Jobs" was, and it was a Yahoo! service, acquired by Monster, and since shut down. This is definately a scam.

I don't ever remember applying at a life insurance company. Which is why I found it odd that my mother answered the call and took down the number. I asked her where the number was from and said that she didn't know and that the person on the other end said that they "pulled" my resume off the internet. Sounded fishy.
I kind of want to return the call, as I am in need of a job, but I want it to be legit and not fishy business. If it were from the places that I've actually applied at, then I wouldn't hesitate to return the call, but this... this was just too odd.

Elsie from Bankers Life and Casualty Company (ext 112), left me a voice mail requesting that I call her back to set up an interview (?). I have never applied to such a company. After reading prior occurrences on this site, I won't be contacting her back. They must have got my info off of a job site. FYI STOP POSTING ON JOB SITES - THEY CANT BE TRUSTED ANYMORE EITHER. I'm going into business for myself. God only knows who else is passing my information around. We seekers don't have time for bull, some of us have families depending on us.
Get with the program world.

I received a call today from this number mentioning an interview request too. It all sounded to fishy. The individual didn't say what the position was or where they received my number other than the internet. So glad that there are other informed individuals who are smart enough to research thing to post it on the internet.

Got a call from same Bankers Life company but PAULA is the person leaving the message. They must have gotten wind of the Natalie issue. She said basically the same thing everyone else has posted but indicated she got my resume from Monster.com. Although I've been a company Controller for the past 15 years I was in real estate sales prior to that and I suspect that's why I get these type of hokey calls. I, too, am glad I looked them up before bothering to call and let "Paula at extension 221" know that I am NOT interested.

Got a call too yesterday and am glad I looked it up. Not even going to bother returning their call!

I received a call from "Natalie" also today wanting to set up an interview. She said she was from Bankers Life and Casuality? Sounded sketchy to me as I never applied to Bankers life and casualty.

I had a message waiting for me from this number. Said her name was Angel, from extension 221, and she had my resume on file and wanted to set up an interview with the "management team." I didn't recall the name, but I've applied for so many jobs... I returned the call, but got an answering machine. It was the same voice on the message telling me of their hours of operation.
I worked in civil engineering for 30+ years.
I've done some research on them and found HUNDREDS of complaints - most people calling the operation a scam - even from those who worked for them for a short while. Some left owing the company money. They make it seem as if you've contacted them first. In reality, they've culled your resume and info from internet job search sites (like CareerBuilder, JobFox) and used LinkedIn and Facebook to grab info.

Same w/ me. I'm a pharmacy tech and they have called 3 times to set up an interview. I'm sketchy about this. Why are they pulling medical field resumes to fill a position?
| Angelo 2011-12-29 22:52:15 Unknown |
I just got a call from them also regarding my resume. I'm a Med Tech, what the hell do they want with me????

Just got a VM on my cell from Natalie at Casualty Management Company. Wants me to call back to set up an interview... After reading other comments posted I do not believe I will be calling back!

This is a solicitation by a life insurance company. Despite their promises, they do not abide by the Do Not Call registry. They call every couple of months.

They have been calling me uncontrollably morning and night.. I finally just put their number under the name "Don't Answer"
