Got a call too. When I get a call from a # like this one I always block the #, then check it later. If they aren't familiar or they have odd area code I don't answer. Works pretty well but I think it can't be done from a landline.

I keep getting phone calls from 702-879-9205. They do not leave a message I do not return calls to numbers when t hey don't leave a message. I would like for it to stop.

and one i answer it
a guy ask for my name and them he hang up
i tryed to call back
but was an answer machine saying your call is important for us
but no one answe and even it doesnt said the name of the company

This number has been calling my cellphone for the last three weeks! and i am not kidding they call Every Half Hour! Never anyone there.
Canada better get some enforceable laws in place to stop this sort of harassment!

still tried his sales pitch about making money opportunity, i told him no thanks,
then he laughed liek a total id*** for about 10 seconds, made weird sounds and hanged up, total morons there.

Call your phone company and file a complaint, see if they can block it for you also! Next, file reports on it for every call they make!
Please do file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,FTC & FCC..

This caller is blowing up my phone day and night. If you try to call them back you get a recording that says the extension is not available.

Unknown caller from this number has called twice that we answered live with no one answering- just silence. Our answering machine has picked up three unknown blank message calls. Called this number back to see who was at the other end of this number. A woman answered as "West Knowledge". We then terminated the call from us as a wrong number just to find out only who it was calling. We have been registered with the "Do Not Call List" for a couple of years already. Once in a while we receive an unknown number caller but seldom if ever call back. This time however we see this number as listed above is becoming a nuisance.

This place called me asking about my info i "put" on the internet about an at home job and that they work for Amazon.
I was confused because I haven't put anything but i went along with it.
Then they asked me some questions, I answered them they told me to listen to quick automated message telling me what this jobs about. I said okay then right after he said well if you listen to this you could get 100-300 dollars. He stopped talking and repeated that 2 more time. I Said i don't give my card numbers over the phone and then immediately hung up.
Scammer.

Getting almost daily calls from this number, they never leave a message. When I called the number the 1st time they hung up on me and the 2nd the gal on the line asked me if I wanted more customers as an Amazon affiliate. When I said I already am an Amazon affiliate she said "when you want more customers to you affiliate site call back and ask for Lisa" and she hung up.

called me 3 times so far today and its only 1:30pm. Started at I think 10am. I picked up they never said anything just hung right up the first 2 times. The 3rd time I let it go to voice mail and they didn't leave a message. Any clue who they are?

9 calls in two days and it's only noon, so I know there is more to come. I called back from a fax line that they have never called and they began with I had called them for extra income. Who are they? They told me "Web Knowledge" with Amazon associates. Reported to www.donotcall.gov and made a complaint. I sure hope everyone will take the time to make a complaint and perhaps by the shear volume of complaints, law enforcement will pursue this scam. It's been quite a long period of time I have purchased from Amazon, but evidently that it a common denominator with many of these posts.... so annoying!

A few days ago I started getting calls from 702-879-9205. I never hear anyone say anything and there is never a message left. Usually, after a few seconds, I hear a muffled beep and they disconnect. Sometimes I don't hear anything. I figure their business plan looks something like this:
1. Call people randomly, and when they answer, hang up.
2. ???
3. Profit
Now if they can just figure out step 2 they will make MILLIONS!

it seems that a lot of people believe that this company (picture air quotes....) got your numbers from amazon, but they've been calling me for a while now and i've never, ever bought anything from amazon and/or given them any info about myself, so they have at least one other source of information - no idea what it might be
