This person called me without leaving a message, near 6pm.

They called me again, this time around 1:30p.  It turns out some person - someone I don't even know - gave them my number and they want to give you a weekend trip to Las Vegas or some other city depending on the deal.  Of course...it's not free!

Just called me at 8:30 p.m. and let the phone ring only once. Called the number back and the answering service says "Wyndham Hotel Resorts"...ties into what the previous comment says. Probably just trying to "give away" a vacation.

called me twice- today at 6:48pm & Tuesday at 6:44pm...they must like to bother folks during their dinner or something.  I don't answer their calls & I won't- you would think that they would get the picture & STOP calling!!!

received a call 2 times and the phone only rang once, no message was left. I called the number (702) 892-8763 back and it is some sort of windom resort. press option 5 to get a live person and demand them to remove you from their marketing list.

they call me at least once a day at about 8:50PM every night!! Its so annoying they never leave a message. Isn't there some type of regulation about times they can call? I also thought cell phones were off limits to telemarkiting. UGH!!

This is Wyndham you're right. They're calling you because someone you know must have recently taken a timeshare tour and during which they give up names and numbers of friends in order to get some sort of free gift (usually a drink voucher or something cheap like that.) I'd answer it and sternly tell them to take you out of their contact database immediately. I think they have to comply with this request.

This is a phone call from Wyndham Vacation Resorts.  These are not cold calls; Either you have toured with them before after visiting them in Las Vegas or you have a friend who toured with them or owns with them and recommended you to receive a discount package.  Just take the call and get a great price on a mini-trip, say you are not interested now but might be later and they'll try you again in a couple month, or ask them to place you (politely) on the Do Not Call list.

I have worked in telemarketing before and have been harassed by telemarketers before so I can relate to both sides.  Many people just ignore calls and go nuts and don't realize they are on a "warm lead" list (meaning they either asked for information or someone recommended them), which means the telemarketer basically has to just call them (because they've already talked to the 95% of civilized people who answer their phone and handle the situation politely).  The other 5% passive aggressively dodge the phone calls or pick up the phone screaming and hurling insults which makes the situation unpleasant for everyone involved.

Don't know what the hell this is. I get at least one call every day with no messages being left. Enough is enough. Tried to answer the last call but nothing on the other end...
