Got a call but no message.

same thing ...missed the call and no message

They called me. It was just a political pollster co. that wanted my opinion on some issues.

Called once on September 9th at 11:55pm and again on September 11, 2008 at 10:50pm.  No messages.

Have gotten many calls.  No message.  Who is it.

this # has been calling for 3 days now, each time hanging up before i can even answer and no messages left. the area code is las vegas but like everyone else, when i call back it's a busy signal. so annoying!

Have called numerous times over the past few months--never anyone there when I answer.  First I get dead air, and then the beeping indicating no on is there.

Opinion pollsters.

Received call April 25 at 2:38 PM.  They asked for Francis . . . ?

didnt answer, called twice. i called back and it was busy? what is this thing?

Just got  call at 9:53 pm on 10/7/10.  Besides the fact that it is too late to call, they did not leave a message.  Now that I have read this info , I will save this number on my phone as D N A.  
Short for Do Not Answer.  Saves time wondering if I should answer a call or not!

Got a call asking for my wife. I asked who it was and he hung up.   Tried calling back to only get a busy tone.   strange.   I am from michigan.

Called, asked for my Husband.  He wasn't home, so I said so.  He said, "OK goodbye".  Healthcare reform vote, I assume...

I keep getting calls from this 702 area code, which I never pick up. Tonight I did pick up. They asked me by my first and last name, and when  Isaid "speaking," the guy hung up on me.

someone calling about surveys, voting ,water (?) something like that.. told them they're bothering......hung up on them

A man called me while I was cooking dinner and asked for "Mark", nobody named Mark has ever lived here, (I've had the same number for 20+ years), he asked if it was the "Tuttle" residence, which it also isn't. Told me to have a good day and hung up. He then called my husband at 9PM and asked for a "Mark Tuttle", who the heck is this guy? He didn't believe me the first time?

I just got a call from this number.  She asked to speak to the voter in the home, but when I replied, "speaking" she said thank you and hung up the phone in my face.  I'm not sure what type of, "voter" she was looking for but it would seem that my female voice was a problem.

This call showed up as "Opinion Poll" on caller ID (we have an unlisted, unpublished phone number.) We have learned to let the phone ring (and to NOT let the answering machine pick it up) when these pests call. Given that we live in Sarah Palin country, I am not surprised by the incessant phone calls. Unfortunately, the Do Not Call registry does not apply to political pollsters. I did the only thing I could do and added this number to my blocked call list. It won't help with the other dozen numbers they use and I'm sure one day I will be caught. I'll send Ted Steven after them. It won't be pretty. :-)

This guy was creepy. He called to say he was not a telemarketer, but wanted to ask me about issues vital to San Francisco voters. When I asked where he was calling from he just repeated the same phrase. I asked again why he was calling from out of state to ask about issues important to S.F. voters and he said well you have caller id, you know where I am calling from 702. I said, yeah, but where is that? Phoenix Az. I wondered what issues he wanted to talk about so I said ok, and he hung up. Who are these people? Very disturbing, and creepy.

They say is this your phone # and ask if they are talking to jen. I ask who they are tell them im not interested in their free vacation to vegas nor orlando. They call atleast 3x a day now. I have told them many times to stop calling, ask to talk to a manager. they reply with i am they manager, ok sorry we wont call you again. I have been calling them everyday and harrassing just as they do me.I thought it maght quit but no. So today when they call i told them if they called again im calling the police, What happened? they called just now. AHHH I want them to stop what do i do?

called and hung up right as I answered. Also called from 702-932-3401 a day or two before. Same thing, no one was there when I picked up.

Called to ask questions about presidential campagne and then started asking me when a good time would be to call back to have some fun... I said "what are you talking about?" He then stated that we could have fun while my husband was gone. Creepy!!!

Got a phone call from a man asking for me, kids answered the phone and he hung up.  Called back, number was busy.

Got a call and caller called me by name.  My name is not in any telephone book.  Believe they may have gotten information from some government agency. Wanted an opinion on some water thing.

its an OPINION POLL,  please go to  www.donotcall.gov and fill a complaint they have all your information out there in minority hands

First time they called said they wanted to ask me a few questions and called me by my name! How did they get my name and number? Told them to not call again, wellll they called again tonite! I didnt answer and they hung up, no message.

Caller: Pam there  (my wife)
Me: Please put me on your do not call list
Caller: Why would I do that?
Me: Because you're calling to solicit information from us.
Caller: How would you know, you're not Pam

Called after 8 p.m on my cell phone, how they got this number I have no clue.  I was in the other room putting our son to bed and my husband answered, no message was left.

Got a call from these guys. They said they were doing a poll on "Water Parks". I get these all the time. I was sceptical, but I said OK. Then they immediately asked me if I was going to vote. That's when I told them to shove it.

Personally, I think all these surveyers and pollster are just working for Karl Rove and putting all this information on us into their huge database so they can manipulate us...

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean it's not true....
