Ah, profanity! The course of action followed by those too ignorant or stupid to think of something intelligent to say. Very impressive!

Just because a phone rings, it doesn't need to be answered. Ever heard of caller ID? What a bunch of victims!

| Hey Kelly 2008-09-15 10:48:39 Unknown |
The global economy does not care about you or your family just as it doesnt care about mine. See my response to Ken. Anyone who keeps calling me over and over when I said NO doesnt deserve any sympathy. So either suffer or find a better job with a respectable company and not some scam artist. You cant sell a product or service to someone who doesnt want it no matter what you may think.
| Hey Ken 2008-09-15 10:41:42 Unknown |
Welcome to the global economy. You dont like losing your job? Well neither does any American whose job gets sent overseas because you work for much less. Turnabout is fair play. The global economy will cause winners and losers in every country. Sorry about your fate but many Americans are facing the same. If you're an American then same difference
But your biggest problem is that telemarketing is out of control in the US and people are tired of it. NO means NO! That means stop calling me! Why do you think the No-call laws were passed 7 years ago? Because people are tired of telemarketers who call over and over and never take NO for an answer. Try using that same tactic with a woman you want to date and eventually you will get a Restraining Order against you! If you treat people with dignity and respect you will be treated the same. If not, then I really dont care what happens to you and your family. So when I say NO and dont call me again, respect my decision or find a better job!

I've been getting similar calls on my home phone (which doesn't have caller ID) and just now got one on my cell (which does). I don't answer unknown out-of-state calls on my cell, but I looked up the number and found this site.
To everyone who's been telling the telemarketers to "take me off your list": That isn't how it works, and they can legally ignore you if that's what you ask. Telemarketers in the US (this still applies to overseas outsourced call centers so long as they're calling from a US number!) are required to maintain a "Do Not Call" list, and if someone they call asks to be ADDED TO their do not call list, they have to add your number and use it to prevent their system from dialing the numbers on it. If they keep calling after you ask to be on their DNC list, you can sue them in small claims court for each call, just have your phone company set up a "trap" so you can get documentation of when they called. It's several hundred dollars for each offense -- details at fcc.gov website.

The next time they call bash Arab culture in the most vulgar way you can think of. They are obviously calling from somehwere in the middle east. I'm sure you can think of something that would highly offend one of those individuals. They hung up on me when I began my Arab bashing rant. No offense to anyone who is an honest Arab, it just hits a nerve with these numb nuts.

Indian guy called 3 times in 1 day. I was unable to identify who he was or why he was calling.I asked him to stop repeatedly and he refused. He even called back after I hung up on him. He was persistent and rude when I told him I was uninterested. This must be illegal and I will be forwarding this to the state A.G.s office upon the next incident.

these a***s just called me for the 20th time. the first time im told them i didnt sign up for anything to take me off the list. the second time, i told them the owner of the phone no longer existed, to stop calling. the last time i went through the whole speech, signed up for the meeting seeing that if i signed up, they would leave me alone. they are still calling me and i told them to stop, and i just had a 10 minute cussing match with them! they said they would come to my house and kick my a**, f*** my mother and my sister, all because i "scammed" them by setting up the meeting! i have tried tons of ways to get myself off the list! what can we do to stop these guys? they have no right talking to me like that, even if i did set up the dumb meeting!

I had them call me a lot of times, too, asking about my car warranty information and BS like that. One time my friend picked up and told them off with quite a coloful vocabulary, and they haven't called since, but I am expecting a call to try that method again.

Have called my company cell phone multiple times over the last couple weeks. Told me it takes up to 4 days to have my request for my number to be removed to fully process all through their system. Told them that I have been telling them that for over 2 weeks now. When I asked for a manager he was sure quick to be on the phone, my guess is he handed it to some guy standing next to him. This so called manager said that he was sorry the request had not gone through and would make sure it was taken care of.... YA RIGHT. For the last 2 days after that conversation I have been getting a couple calls per day. Going to try ignoring them and see what happens now that I recognize the number well enough to know it is going to be.

Hey, I just posted with the website. I got the company name wrong...I thought it was Worldmark by Wyndham. But from reading other posts it must be Worldmark by Wydam. I can't find anything on "Wydam". Do you think it's actually "Wyndham", but the telemarketer misspelled?

I received my first call from this number today at 1:00PM MST. I didn't recognize the number and they didn't leave a message. I called back because I wanted to know who was calling me. (The only people who have my cell phone number are friends and family.) Some guy picked up the phone and said, "Hello?" (in a very confused tone) and when I said, "Hello, I received a call from this number. Who is this?" He promptly hung up on me. At first, I figured it was a wrong number, until I got online, Googled the number and discovered this reporting website. Now I'm scared these people are going to keep calling me. What do we do??? Argh. I won't answer the phone if these idiots call again, (because obviously they'll be rude and won't stop calling) but it's extremely harrassing. They may be outsourcing overseas, but they are US-based. There has GOT to be something we can do!
Here is their website and contact information. (See below) Do you think we should contact their Corporate Headquarters? Perhaps we could report this to the police. There has GOT to be a way to stop this.

They called my home business multiple times in the same day and now won't stop. we told them politely the first two times that this is a business and to remove our phone # and not call again. They guy got angry and argued with us telling us this wasn't a business and that we had won something aned that we didn't understand and that he would keep calling.

Call me at least twice a day. Indian accents every time. They say I have won a free trip. Every time I tell them to take me off the list, only to get a call later that day. Today, I flipped out at them and told them this is harassment. I told them I would call the police, they said "Go Ahead" and laughed at me. EXTREMELY RUDE. They told me they need my name and address to be taken off of the list. WHAT? Give you more information? I think not! This is a violation of our rights. THESE PEOPLE MUST BE STOPPED!

Same as the other posts. This company calls me constantly and just ignores the fact that I am not "Holly" and my demands they not call again. I told them it was not legal to make solicitations on cell phone numbers and they just repeat the "special offer" over and over. I called back to talk to a manager and they just kept repeating themselves. Aargh!

This Dumb A** company calls me every day and I have repeatedly told them to stop......There should be something done about this cuz I'm sure I'm not the first. Whoever gave them our numbers violated third party disclosure laws and needs to be sued....

Indian call center. Called back the number and "Anthony" said they were working for Worldmark by Wydam - had to get him to spell it out, couldn't understand the accent.
They've been calling for the past couple of weeks, each time I tell them to stop. Told him last time I was going to sue him. He said "go ahead".
I guess that "no-call" is a US only law, doesn't apply to offshore call centers.

Called me asked for kindo. Then asked if i was the "owner" of my phone number. Then started talking about some type of "once in a lifetime offer?". My friend asked for him to repeat what he said and he said he would'nt give away that type of information.
