I found a card at my DJ booth with (702) 948-4225 on it. From the picture, which depicts an Oriental woman named "Jayda" with her boobs exposed (her nipples are covered over with silver hearts), I can assume this number is for a call-girl agency. On the other side is a similar picture for a "Jena" with (702) 650-3507 on it. If any of you thought that "What happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas," you were wrong. I'm guessing you were receiving calls for another discrete hook-up.

This caller read a script saying i won a vacation at the riviera casino & hotel, good for 18 months for a group of four. After i asked a few questions, the last one being what did the male caller want. Caller indicated "they" could not collect sales tax in nevada so he wanted me to pay the $259.99 sales tax. When i said no paying the sales tax, the caller immediately hung up!!! Beware people!

I got a few calls from this number, I finally answered and it's a bookie / betting place that is trying to sell you their sports picks. They will tell you they know guaranteed outcomes of games ect, and want you to purchase their picks for a "guaranteed win"....Total scam obviously.

I get these damn calls to stay at the Riviera ALL THE TIME. That hotel is so disgusting! Then they immediately hang up. And they're always black. (Why do you need to make us look bad?) Be aware now they just called me from the phone number (714)509-6454.

I've received several calls from this number & had the same experience as most people. If I answer the phone, no-one says anything & they disconnect shortly there after. If I don't answer, they don't leave a message. I'm also on the DNC list. I hate these people!

Called me starting on 4/27 and then again today (4/28).  The only casino I've ever stayed in was the Palazzo and the old Hilton (next to tthe convention center).  Palazzo uses a different set of numbers and always leaves a message, so I know its not them.  The Hilton was just sold and is now called the LVH.  I STRONGLY suspect it is them......

I keep getting harassed by this person as well.  they do not answer.  AT&T is worthless as far as providing any support.  I asked them to block this phone number and that I have read online that hundreds of people are being bothered by this caller and they said they would happily block the phone number for $4.95 per month...  Come on AT&T...

the exact same story, except he said he was with the Hilton Vacation resort.  He said he had a 3rd party verification person to check my credit card, but it sounded like he just handed the phone over to someone in the room.

I spoke to them last week, it is the Rivera in Vegas.  Asked them not to call me and they again called me this afternoon.  If you have Verizon, I am guessing that others have this as well, you can block the individual number.  I too am no the DNC list, guess it isn't being followed.

They called our other phone number.  I finally figured it out!

A man called and said that he was calling for Riviera Hotel.  I asked how they got our number.  He said it was given to them by a famous timeshare, but couldn't tell me the name.  I said "it's Hilton isn't it," and he acknowledged "yeah."

The number was given to them (Riviera Hotel?)  by Hilton timeshare.  We participated in a time share presentation in Vegas about 5 years ago.  They must have given them our name and phone number.

I asked them to remove my name and number last week.  They are still calling me several times a week.  I can't stand these people.

They have called every day for the past week (a different person).  They ask for someone who has never lived here.  I tell them they have the wrong number, and please don't call again.  But, of course, they call every day anyway, and hang up while I'm telling them to stop calling. I have called them back twice, left my phone number, and told them to stop calling.  So far, that has not worked.  I'm going to stop answering.

I received a couple of calls from this  number.  The first one didn't leave a message.  The second was silent with a final hang up.  The third, which was yesterday, was a male who had my cell number and a former address, which was accurate the last time I was in Las Vegas.  He was quite chatty -- and convincing.  He offered 4 days, 3 nights at the Rivera for $159, and an additional $20 p/night if I wanted to stay longer.  He said I would get a $200 discover gift card to use anywhere, any time; $100 food gift card; and 50% off on all Las Vegas performances.  He said I had been selected because my income was over $50,000 yearly and confirmed that I had a "credit" card -- not a "debit" card.  (I thought not wanting to using a debit card was odd since it would have been an instant transfer of monies.)  I told him I would be using a MasterCard but since I was driving, I could not access it.  He said, "I didn't know you were driving."  He then asked me to pull off the road so I could give him the information!  I told him I was driving down the interstate and pulling over wasn't an option.  He said he would call back and when would be a good time.  I said about 6 p.m.  He said he didn't want to call back that late so would call the next day.

Thanks to everyone who had contributed to this issue.

After many calls over the last few weeks, I finally answered. The guy was offerring a 3 night stay in Las Vegas for $179 at the Riviera. He was throwing in all kinds of freebies with the offer. I asked if he worked for the Riviera & he said no he worked for a marketing firm. He rattled off the name so fast I couldn't catch the name. He wanted my credit card number to reserve the offer. He already had my full name & mailing address.
I realized it was a phishing scam, so I told him I would really like to accept the offer, but I would like to pay the Riviera directly when I checked in.
He immediately hung up on me!!!
Don't get scammed!!!!!!!!

They called again.  They have called almost everyday for over the past week.  Have no idea how they got my number.  Usually they call and don't say anything when I answer or if I don't answer they leave no message.  After I said hello 4 times, someone finally answered.  They mentioned that Riviera hotel and I asked that they take me off of the list and I heard a sigh/huff and he hung up on me.

over the last few weeks, we have seen a great increase in these bogus calls, our credit card numbers were also part of the VISA hack a few back.  Coincidence-- I don't think so.  Now I am going to have to upgrade our phone line to get individual call blocking.

I did not answer the call from this number since it was unfamiliar. A message of ten seconds of silence was left. This is the second very odd & unrecognized Vegas telephone number that's been calling me since I vacationed in Vegas about six weeks ago.

To me, this looks like someone who lives in Vegas SPOOFING dead Vegas telephone numbers - - in an attempt to scam credit card and/or other identity information out of people using a variety of pretexts.

While I was in Vegas, I must have given my number to some pretty young woman who, seeing I was dressed like money, handed my phone number over to her scammer pals. Thanks a lot, sugar.

The other odd phone number that called me is 702.255.1238. Posters are now claiming that BOTH of these phone numbers are inquiring on behalf of the Riviera Mia hotel in Vegas. But there is no Riviera Mia hotel in Vegas; there is a Riviera hotel in Vegas but it uses the 702.794 exchange. One poster said the 7558 number is calling on behalf of the Golden Legacy Resort in Vegas. There is no such resort in Vegas; there is the Golden Nugget in Vegas and the Silver Legacy in Reno. One poster said the 1238 number was calling to sell cheap insurance, which sounds like an excellent pretext for thieving identity information.

I returned the 1238 call (while *67 blocking my own phone number) and I heard a ?not in service? message. I didn?t bother calling back this 7558 number; other posters say it rings but does not answer.

I suggest you hang up on, and if possible block, both of these telephone numbers. Of course, they'll probably just start spoofing some other disconnected telephone number next week ? after they have scammed a few victims using these telephone numbers. Sheesh.

For the past several days, I've received calls from this phone number. I attempted to call back and receive the cryptic message "No one is available" to take your call.
