Got a text message from this loser about dirtyduval.net

After reading the story on the website, one does have to wonder, he was already in jail for a year... so the original charge was taken care of... but having a warrant for 1) Not being able to pay $57,000 and (I can't imagine anyone being able to afford, well anything, after losing their job/home/everything to jail)

I know a little about Florida Corrections, he shouldn't have had probation if there was jail time.. and even so, it should have been what is called "Administrative Probation".... the only reason they have him on probation is an attempt to enforce the $57k judgment.

My boyfrind got a text message from this phone number, and him being the idiot he is responded by calling back and leaving a nasty voicemail, now our phones are not working and AT&T says they can't pull up my billing information yet to find out what happened....

I wish he simply would have ignored it.

Search for veovis@gmail.com on Myspace and send him a message about how much you enjoy his spam messages on your cell phone.

I got the text at 12:30 am.  Wasn't something i wanted to wake up to, especially since I have been a victim (in the past).  This was quite disturbing to me.  My boyfriend received the same text around 10:40pm.

He runs the dirtyduval.net site. I got a message from him tonight. Feel free to complain to abuse@fortressitx.com which is his website provider. Enough emails and his site will be pulled. Also, that veovis@gmail.com is listed as an eBay fraud. Ryan Masters was arrested in Tampa in 2005. He is 6 foot tall and 280lbs. I received a text from them at 2 AM! It woke me up out of a dead sleep and scared me to death...normally, a text or call in the middle of the night is NOT a good thing. I did not reply because I figured that would only confirm that it's a valid number. Whatever these people's message is, this is NOT the right way to go about getting it out.

Received my text message at 3:00a--haven't responded and don't plan to . . . Since these calls generate from the 702 area code "Las Vegas,Clark County, NV" . . . sounds like a case of the pot calling the kettle black, and I quote:
"Clark County Nevada is one of the most corrupt Counties in these United States. These corrupt government people are nothing more than minions for the Casino owners. Whatever the Casinos want, these people do and to h*** with the Taxpayers and citizens of Clark County."

I received the same message this morning.  I replied with the Stop command and it seems to have gone through.  I also advised this - individual - that this number is listed with the National Do-Not-Call registry, https://www.donotcall.gov/.  I felt the minimal effort it required to list my number there was worth it.

I got several of these in October and when you went to the website they told you to send a ridiculous letter to a 'fake address'  Like the previous user, I'm not on a text plan either.  I complained with the FCC as on DoNotCall.  I got the paperwork back that said they could do NOTHING about it as somehow "legit" (listed as a "political organization" which is exempt from donotcall/text restrictions.  I got one yesterday again about noon from them/him again when I thought such messages had finally stopped.  Complain to the Florida Attorney General's office as well as Nevada (though for Nevada you have to download the form as a pdf and fax it).  He's now using 702-994-8023 as the phone number with the text message.  Says to reply "STOP" to end messages. But based on past experience that will likely only confirm your spammed number as valid and lead to more of them.  My advice:  Don't reply to them.  I have to pay per text message as well.  Best you can do is turn off ALL text messaging on your phone by calling your provider (thought I had done so through their website).  I don't give out my cell # either so they are using some kind of mass text spam engine hooked up to prepaid cellphones, so they can easily change phone numbers, I bet.

I've now gotten three of these.  I want to know where this 'person', got my cell number from and who authorized him to use it.  I'm planning on sending an email to veovis@gmail.com (email address on the contact us page of this dirty little site) and demand that he provide this information.  I don't care that there's an opt out; it should have never started to begin with.  I'm sick and tired of getting text messages on my personal phone from organizations/companies who have not explicitly requested my cell for this purpose.  I don't give it out!

I had the same problem, tried again a few hours later and it worked, I think it may be because he is sending out tens of thousands of messages at once... and probably getting tens of thousands of STOP commands, and his system can't support that much SMS traffic....

I have gotten 3 texts from this number about "dirtyduval".  Last text said to text "STOP" back to be removed from list, but my phone said the message was failed because of "resource shortage".
