Called on my work cell - otherwise would not have answered the call.  A fuzzy-sounding automated message said "This is Chase Bank.  Your Chase debit card has been lost.  Press 1..."  Of course, I don't have a Chase debit card.  Out of curiosity, I pressed 1, and received the same message again.  I would have loved to have received an actual human on the other end of the line to whom I could give a piece of my mind about this obvious phishing scam.

702-998-3415 NEVADA called today. I missed it, but I'm glad! I have a friend who took a call from one of these guys and they really messed up his computer! He had to completely rebuild his PC.

Thank you so much all of you who have posted here because the posts have been very informative. I find this to be the best site I've encountered on finding out "who called". Thank you all.

Clearly a scam.  The Indian sounding guy called me several times with the number blocked but the last time got this number.  Tried to get me to use the Windows command prompt to go to their website (infosis.net) where from other posts it appears that it would load the Ammyy client and allow them to get on my computer.  Said that I needed to renew my Windows certificates.  I pressed him for what would happen next and he rattled off subscription prices for their service.

I received a robo call from this number this morning telling me that my American Express card has been locked.  I hung up on the call since I have never had an American Express card.  I have also received the so called Microsoft calls about my computer.  Everytime they call me I am usually out and about and my computer is turned off and unplugged.  I once told a guy that I was an IT tech and that he was full of sh**t and hung up on him.  I feel bad for the people that fall for these scams.  I wish there was something that could be done!

I got a call from this number (702-998-3415) this morning around 8:00 A.M.   I didn't answer the call.  I guess they figure, if I don't answer the phone during the day, then why not call early in the morning.  I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number.   I wish there was a way to get them to stop this continued harassment.

Got a call from 702 998 3415.  Picked it up by accident.  Caller asked for Joan, but because he had an Indian accent, I said she was not here.  Asked what this was about, and he said he was from the State Health Dept. Medical Head.  He said he has a compensation for me, because I had a bladder mesh or sling years ago.  Asked if I had hysterectomy surgery.  I hung up.  How can they ask for one person and go on to explain about the phone call, when I said Joan wasn't here.

04-21-2014....received call from ID of 702-998-3415 from LasVegas, NV.  Caller had a foreign accent with very bad English speaking skills.  Kept stumbling over his words.  He informed me that "they" had been informed by Microsoft that Microsoft was unable to communicate with my computer, due to files on my machine blocking them.  I informed him that my computer was working just fine, all of my security measures were working as they should be and there was no problem.  He insisted anyway that the computer needed to be "looked at". I inquired as to how you going to do that?  He said "they" would have to have a look at my "files" in order to locate which one was blocking Microsoft. I hung up on him.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone at about 3:30 A.M.!!!!  Of course I didn't answer, but I guess it's about time to keep a whistle on my night stand to blow it in their ears, if they haven't any better sense than to call in the middle of the night!!

Rec'd call from 702-998-3415.  It was an recorded voice saying "We regret to inform you that your MasterCard debit card has been lost (or locked maybe).  Please press one to speak to a representative."  This call sounded like such an obvious scam I hung up.  To be safe, I checked the status of all my bank cards  and all was secure, as I suspected.  I'm sure this is just a scam for extracting credit card and banking  information.  I wish I could piss through a phone line at these dirt bags.

702-998-3415 is a scam number saying they are with Microsoft and there is something wrong with your computer.  I keep telling them to stop harassing me, and then preceed with lawyers and fbi warnings LOL it slows them down for a little bit, but they are in droves so if the one doesn't call you again, someone else will.

Received a call from this number today Feb 4, 2014. Person said that they had received multiple Windows error reports. He explained that Windows has an error reporting system that sends them the errors. As a computer technician I am aware of the error reporting system, and how they are sent. I asked the person (before I informed him about me being a computer technician) what was the purpose of his call and how is it he knew that it was my computer that was reporting the errors. I stated I had multiple computers and they were offline (trying to throw him off as I was suspicious. I know the windows error reporting system does not generate a call back. Furthermore, my house number is fairly (2 months) new and is not registered to any Microsoft products). I kept pressing for the purpose of his call, then stated I was a computer technician and the person hung up. First time as a phishing attempt via a phone call.

Rang only once. I did not answer, but caller ID showed the same phony "Nevada" number others have reported. If it is an Indian claiming to be from Microsoft, try one of these:
1. Thank you but I got a prayer from an Indian Holy Man that works every time . My computer then is like new!
2. Thank you but I have a contract with Roto-Rooter to clean my computer every month. They do a superb job!

This call came from a scammer in another country using a magic jack device and Caller ID ?Spoofing? technology. Some scammers making unwanted telephone calls are using a new technology called ?caller ID spoofing? to falsify caller ID information. This means that telephone services such as caller ID, *69 (last call return) and *57 (call trace) are no longer reliable. The use of ?spoofed? numbers by fraudsters who hide from the law is spreading due to phone companies? installation of computer equipment that allows Internet-connected computers to cheaply make phone calls to conventional telephones. This technology allows the scammer to make unidentifiable phone calls to a citizen?s home. When a person returns a ?spoofed? call, they find that the number is disconnected, not in service, or is assigned to someone who is very obviously not the scammer.
Most ?spoofed? calls come from criminals trying to steal money or obtain personal information, such as credit card numbers, which the thieves can then use to commit identity theft.

The caller from this number today was clearly from an African nation. He said he was from "the government" and needed to speak with my father. The actual "government" is aware that my father passed away in January.

09-13-2013....received call from ID of 702-998-3415 from LasVegas, NV.
