Call several times a day, no message, answered once, no response on other end.

They call 6 to 10 times a day,and never answer. How can I get this number blocked

They are the American Foundation for Children with AIDS. I never pick up the phone when they call, and they don't leave a message. The BBB has a generally positive report on them here:

It looks as though they do most of their work in Africa.

They're at it again. Asked for my wife, when I said she wasn't here, he hung up. Busy tone every time I call back.

Same thing happening to me again and again.. I see washington DC in the caller id. Who the hell this is is this some kind of a program that is designed???

We just received the same call from the same number, 703.229.1562/"AFCA". No one spoke so I hung up. These calls are annoying but, now we know not to answer it again.

Same thing just happened to me as the previous post. I answered...no one said anything and they hung up. Caller ID said AFCA.

Called at 9:05 P.M. I answered just to ream them out for calling after 9 p.m. but of course, no one spoke so hung up. Anyone ever heard of these creeps? Caller ID says AFCA, but a web search for that acronym comes up with hundreds of hits.
