I am being robocalled during the day so I have answering machine messages regularly from this company. I call the company to tell them to stop and the number is always disconnected. How can they call from a number that does not exist? I am also on the do not call list.

HVAC duct cleaning along with dryer vent for $59.00.  Yeah, sure.  About the 10th such call.

Received call today at 11:40am - didn't answer.  Left message - recording that started in the middle with press 1 for more info or 2 to be removed.

Been getting calls from them daily for several weeks. Am on the Do Not Call list. SO IRRITATING....not the way to get me to do business with you.

I have received numerous phone calls from these people.  I have each time pressed "1" to speak to a representative and politely asked to have my number removed from their calling list.  The agents are polite but they don't do anything.  I filed a complaint with the FTC today.  Next is Congressman Connolly's office.  These people are a  pain.

This is a phony computer-generated tie-line number used by a scam, fraud telemarketer.  They keep calling and calling and calling.  Bunch of Godless devils up to no good.  This is probably the same group that calls using a variety of phony numbers about duct cleaning, coupons, you have won a trip, etc., etc., which should be shut down and all of their employees locked up.  The worst thing one can do is give any of these Godless devils your personal data or a credit card number, as a well-intended contribution of $10 or $15 will eventually show up as charges of hundreds or even $1000s, plus identity theft. Beware - do not fall for any of these scams and frauds.  This is another example of why everyone must PLEASE write their elected reps in DC to demand strengthened DNC laws with severe dollar penalties and prison sentences. The strengthened law must include the requirement that ALL businesses and individuals must be correctly identified on Caller Id, no use of computer-generated phony numbers or tie-lines, no repeated calls, and require them to leave a message. This will give our elected reps in DC something useful to do, as opposed to holding up and trying to destroy our Constitutional form of Government, and acting like a bunch of jerks.  We need call control, not gun control.

I actually found your name as well and thought to actually call you in Harrisburg.  Good to see now that you are not driving this problem.  I have filed two complaints for their two calls (10/6 & 10/17).  I did talk with a woman (I pressed 1) and she hung up on me.

In any case, suggestions:
1.  Find a way to work with blogspot.com to have their site (with you address) removed:  http://air-duct-cleaning-centreville.blogspot.com.  As long as you can prove that is your address (send them the fairfax county property tax registration), they should remove it.
2.  Actually call the FCC and talk with a human.  I have received this same call from 703-239-7311 & 703-662-0314.  The FCC should search the filed complaint records for (at least for these two number, more if you have them) and take action.  You will need to demand they take action.
3.  Call your congressman's office and ask the office to pressure the FCC to take action as noted in #2.

These Scammers continue to call us but we never answer unknown calls.  This is a Scam do not answer your phone.

Got a call from Air Duct Cleaning.  What is the value of the DNC Registry if no one complies with it?   Another waste of Tax Dollars.

This robocall number calls us 1-2 times per week, starts in the middle of a sentence, and tries to sell me air duct cleaning .  Please make them stop!

These scam artists have called three times in the last week.  I would love to find a way to stop them.  Anybody got any ideas?  Has anybody filled a police report on them?  I think if a bunch of people start filing reports, we may be able to get them.

Thank you for the advice.  We are fairly certain this isn't identity theft.  The person(s) simply used our address for our empty home for their fake business.  There is no real business registered under this name.  My name is not linked to the business in anyway other than the fact the address is mine.  The phone number is not registered to me nor is the business.  

I did open a case with Fairfax County police, but don't have high hopes for resolution.  My main concern is that I am a financial advisor and when you google my name it now links to this post where it now appears I own a fake business that is robo calling everyone.  I understand the person above was just trying to expose the person responsible, but it is now hurting my good name for anyone looking up information on me.

For starters, have you taken further steps to protect your identity ? You might want to talk to your local authorities on this one, as they will have far more resources than you'll find here.

ETA: I'm sorry...I'm actually more concerned with all of this being in your name . My big concern (and I'm not saying it WOULD happen) would be you being in trouble for anything this "company" is doing.

I used to live at 14608 ****** Drive. It is on the market right now and apparently someone registered a phone number and business through my name and address. I only found out this was all happening when one of my clients got called and they found my name linked to the business.

I can confirm this is not a legitimate business, but don't know what else I can do to help. Some scam looking for open houses on the market to link their fake businesses to.

Any suggestions on how to track them down and shut down their website and get it disassociated with my name I'm open to suggestions.

We have received a daily robocall from this company for over a week.  Our number is on the national do-not-call list.  They should be prosecuted and jailed.

They have called me several times and we are on the Do Not Call registry. ( Which means nothing really since no one enforces it... )  I answered the robocall and punched on to talk to an operator and then they told me no one was available to please leave my number... that way they have permission to call you from no  one.. I didin't do that of course. But then I too, tried to call back and was told the number is not in service. When the government gets back to work I intend to file a report and complain.

We are the do not call list yet these people called twice today.  It's a robo csll.

This robocaller has been hitting my home phone for several days.  I have blocked it on my phone system, but I am going to complain to my county supervisor just to be on the record.

I recieved a call from this number. I am on the donot call list.

Just got similar robo-call as others above.  I also tried calling back and got automated operator saying "call could not be completed" for no apparent reason, except that somehow they are circumventing the phone system.  Everyone who has their number listed on DoNotCallRegistry (I've been on for YEARS and have NEVER called or done business with these people) should report these calls, especially robo-calls at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx using the FILE A COMPLAINT button on the left.  If we all start doing this perhaps they will track these losers and shut them down!

It's not just Fairfax County.  I'm in Alexandria City and they called me today as well.
