NCC - There is a d-bag who leaves me ghetto voicemails "this is mr carter call me back"..very unprofessional and never says what he is calling about what a D act like a professional collections company

They called my work number (which I neve give out) and left a message with our assistant. I called back they didnt identify the company other than to say "oscar", couldn't identify me by my number and asked for my social security number at which point I told them as they had not identified themselves in any manner I was not willing to give then that information and they hung up.  The caller ID said 1927 and the call back was 1902. Be careful with these numbers.

Received numerous calls from this number, no name on caller ID, just phone number.  Called them back and got a recording referencing NCC.  Asked "agent" who finally answered why this number keeps calling me.  He said it was confidential and asked to verify my name.  I could have been anyone and answered yes, so how is that possibly "confidential"??  Told him not to call me again.  In reading some other complaints here, I see Johns Hopkins mentioned.  Their billing department is a nightmare; first they send a bill (small copay amounts) then when I pay it, they send me a refund check, then another bill.  Not surprised they would turn over accounts to creepy collection agencies. It may not be a scam, but it's certainly unprofessional.

I keep getting calls at my place of employment from this number but when I answer, they hang up!

This # called me daily for months because I totally owed a past due hospital bill that I couldn't afford to pay. They also sent me notices in the mail. I ignored them. I finally got my s*** together, called the #, spoke to a very nice lady, and paid my bill. Like magic, the calls stopped. It wasn't a scam.

I get calls from this all the time, no message.  I have checked my credit report multiple times, just refinanced my house and there is nothing outstanding on it. I feel as though they are trying to collect on already settled debt.

Very Rude wanting money for DNC

Today, February 18, 10-20 minutes before 11 a.m., I had a call from this number -- 703-245-1924. The female voice on the tape said the message was from NCC and very important for Cindy Call. If I was not Cindy Call (I am male and I am not Cindy Call), I was to hang up, which I, scared, did before the message ended. My phone number IS on the Do-Not-Call list, but this call did get through. I called back, a tape said (the connection was of poor quality) they were experiencing a larger than expected volume of calls, and eventually a certain Jeff answered and asked me about Cindy Call. I said I am not Cindy Call and Cindy Call has absolutely no connection with me, my name, or my phone number. Jeff said they will remove my number from their list. How did it get there, on their list, in the first place? Who is Cindy Call? This sounds like a scam. If these reports amount to anything, the 703-245-1924-Cindy-Call scam should be investigated, discovered, and punished according to the law.

Keep getting calls from this number.  Someone keeps giving out my cell number when "they" don't want to be identified and this company has gotten hold of it.  Please stop calling.

YES!  It is a scam.  I heard about this a couple of days ago.  They buy old debts that have expired and do their best to get $$ from people who owed them at one time.  DO NOT make ANY payments as that starts the clock over again for the statute of limitations.

I too have been getting calls from this number, annoying? I just hang up. My number has the Do Not call registry, still get?s through the system. What?s up with that? If the GOV doesn?t act on these complaints what use is the program?

I blocked them from my cell - divert the calls - phone wont ring.

NCC National Credit Corporation or something like that.  They have all the info from an old medical bill of mine, including the correct name, address, birthdate and account number.  But the bill has been paid in full and Johns Hopkins said they never sent it to collections.  NCC has been calling for four months.  So now I wonder if it is a scam....

Same thing, old debt from early 90s, paid for years, definately a scam. Call many times, no message left, and continue to call.

Yes!! This same # of 703-245-1924keeps calling my house....They called several times within 20minutes. Im the type of person if i dont know the # im not gonna answer so if its important just leave a message. They/ whoever it is calling from that # never leaves a message. I called the # back  and a rep answered phone. I told her someone has called me from this # several times. She then asks me what is your last name?....What do you need my last name for? I hung up....I dont know who or what this NCC buisness is but seems suspicious to me when you are a business but never leave a message and when someone calls 1st question you wanna ask is whats your last name.....How do i get rid of these people calling me?

They KEEP calling me!!  No one leaves a message and I don't answer.  Annoying though.

If you get your phone from Comcast you can block the number.

I would like this caller to stop calling me

Called, wanted to speak with my brother-in-law.  I told them he was unavailable but that I could certainly help them with whatever issue they had.  Asked me if I was his wife, I said yes, then asked me to "verify" that by providing them with MY (her) birth date, address, phone number and social security number.  Uh, how is providing  all that information going to verify anything if they are calling about my husband (or in this case my brother-in-law). So I gave them her birth date and everything else with the exception of her social but they wouldn't talk to me until I provided it.  They hung-up when I refused.

When they called again, my husband answered and said he was my brother-in-law and they proceeded to tell him about an overdue medical bill for a very small amount.  After they told him the amount and what it was for, he told them he outright lied and was NOT who they were calling for.  They hung-up IMMEDIATELY!

We have since found the delinquent bill and payed it directly to the hospital.

Calls my cell phone a few times every day. Just called me at 2:45 p.m. Central time.

Supposedly a collections line calling re: xrays done at a Hopkins office. I called Hopkins, because this was supposed to go through insurance. Their billing office informed me that they have not sent the bill to collections.
