They asked me if I would like a free cordless phone. I said no and to please take me off their list. She continued I with the sales pitch. I stopped her and said no thank you. She then hung up. I tried to call back and the phone number was out of service.

caller ID says "VIRGINIA" never leaves a message.  must be a scam.

The caller asked for me by name, told him this number was for emergencies only.  Male with a deep American voice said this is an emergency. I have a stripper pole delivery to install in your bedroom and then he said my address. I said do not call this number again.  The voice said I am going to call this number everyday. I cursed and hung up.  Such a pain.  Don't ever answer this number!

I did not answer the phone and I am running out of number space to block!!! Now the door must be locked tight because since crazy rash of scam calls in the last five yrs they have been accompanied by the follow up to ppl coming to the house on at least two occasions. We told them to fly a kite.

They just tried calling me, too, but I was already on the phone & didn't answer.  I, too, am on the Do Not Call list.

Phones are very easy to hack with the right technology. Anyone can hack a phone, computer, car, anything with a motherboard, or computer chip. My father works at Comdata and they work for different banks and payroll offices. These computers freeze and he has to go in and make change controls to unfreeze and stop hackers from tapping into banks and other offices. Be sure to keep as little information about you off your phone as possible.

Random calls consistently come in one right after the other every morning, from this number and this number: 4345924309
Nobody answers, says anything or even hangups its my phone that hangs up on them like they're controlling it to do that.

1) Called from "703" area code
2) Got a live person! (My F-N advantage to play & stroke their ego)
3) Said I'm interested...but asked for my wifes name which she got it F-N wrong! CLUE #1
4) Said we inquired about a home improvement project last year. (BS) I've been SICK HEALTH ALL LAST YEAR BI***!!

5) Gave them a piece of my mind, told them to PUCK OFF, WE ARE RENTERS.pressed #9 AND HELD FOR A MNIUTE!!!

Received eight calls over two hours from Siemens 703-272-4699; also Seattle 206 701 0285 and San Antonio, Tx 210-280-8487.  Same caller, used different names.

He said he worked for the Microsoft Help Desk--my computer was infected but he would walk me through a procedure to fix it. Same scam as above.

Had recent problems with computer and sent Info to Microsoft so was ripe for this call supposedly from Siemens.
Gave them access to my computer until something the man said set off the alarm and I closed off access.

I too got a call from this number saying that there was a problem with my computer and that I would have to talk to someone to get it resolved.  I didn't fall for the ploy. The caller was a woman with an accent and would not take NO for an answer.  She finally gave up and said my number would be taken off of their list. Right! The caller ID said it was Siemens, so I tried calling back and got the same result as everyone else. The number is no longer in use.
I also am listed on the no call list. What gives?

Said I could have a free security system if I let them put their sign in my front yard, common sales ploy, they make their money on the monthly monitoring fees. I selected 9 to be put on their Do Not Call list, but I doubt it will help. Like many others, depending on my mood, I believe the best deterrent is to stay on the line, talk to them for a bit, perhaps ask them to identify their company (many hang up when you ask that), then ask to be put on their Do Not Call list.

Belief 1: The rats in this business don't want to call those who waste their time, so being a small nuisance back actually has a positive effect. (please, don't wake me, it's a nice dream)

Belief 2: Congress will do something (soon) to catch and punish these nitwits. (yep, still dreaming, but it's pleasant here)

703-272-4699 just called our business. Caller ID shows up as SIEMENS. It's clearly an illegal spoofed robocall. They were trying to offer to get us listed on the first page of Google. Guess what morons - my business already comes up on the first page of Google since we have such a unique niche business. So tired of all of these fake Google and SEO scammers calling our business. Report each and every one to the FCC.gov website and the number provider CLEC/ILEC.

I have asked these people numerous times to put me on  their do not call and stop calling. This last call i asked to speak with a supervisor. When the supervisor got on the phone I told him to put me on the do not call list. He said we are just doing our job. At that point i said i have documented at 5 calls to this number in the last two weeks alone, and if i received one more call i would procede with legal action. Hi response Oh I'm shivering, i am so scared. I hung up

Siemens 703-272-4699.  Definitiely a scam.  Caller wants you to turn on your computer because he "knows" that you have a virus and is calling to "inform you" and help you.  Scam for sure!

The phone number shows up as "Siemens" so I answered the phone, could be someone I needed to speak with, it was a person with an Indian accent stating they were from the "United State Healthcare compensation", asking if I have had any surgeries and could be eligible for compenstation. When I asked for a call back number or a person I could talk to on how they got my name and why they are asking about surgeries I have had or maybe have had, he got a little defensive, no called back number and noone I could talk to who is in charge. Then I asked what surgeries were eligible, he names off 4 diff surgeries, very hard to understand what he was saying, again I asked why they chose me...I hve not had any surgeries, then he asked if anyone in my family would have had any of these surgeries, again I asked why they are calling me and if they had a list of surgeries or any information on me, he said thankyou and hung up.

The phone number shows up as "Siemens" so I answered the phone (could be a client).  Clearly it is not, as they are calling about my computer.  And that it is sending out "lots of error messages".  They've called before, and I can hardly understand them.  Clearly they are trying to find folks who are willing to follow the steps they are likely to provide and gain access to your computer.

i received this call from 703 272 4699 - of course I live in michigan and do not know anyone who would call from out of my area code. I did not answer ..I get these calls here and there from various #"s - Never answer the calls though.

I like to mess with these people, since they spend their entire day messing with us.  Yes, they are scammers -- working from a boiler room in God-knows-where (probably overseas) but I do a variety of things, depending on my mood:

"FBI Internet Investigations... this is Agent Smith. Are reporting a scam?"  <--- This one is my favorite, lol.

OR I just press '1' and wait for an operator.  When they come on the line and ask me if I'm ready to lower my interest rate (or whatever their current offer is) I just say, "No, I just wanted to waste your time, since you're wasting mine.  What's new?  How's your Grandma?"  or something like that.  Of course they hang up, and that's usually the end of it.

lol.  I have fun with it, since there's no way to get it to stop.

Received a call to reduce my CC interest - I am on the Do Not Call list - have been for years - pressed 9 to tell them to quit calling - a man with heavy accent proceeded to tell me how they were going to reduce my rate and only needed a few pieces of personal information - I kept asking questions and then told him NO and do not call again - he said I had wasted his time - told him to have a nice day. LOL! Called today 2/12/2014 @ 11:55 am CST.  Called the number back and a recording came that said this was a disconnected number was not a normal "the number you called is no longer in service" recording.  That number has to be through some service provider - might not be able to track the called but they can certainly cut off the use of that phone number.

They called our landline this morning said they were with Siemens and wanted to talk to me about our computer. I ask which one. He told me the oldest windows one. I started laughing at him & told him to put whatever it was they wanted in the mail cause he was making no sense since all 8 of them are windows. Yes I pulled a ridiculous number out of the air.

The same thing just happened to me and yes, the caller ID says Siemans.  They tell you they were hired by Microsoft.  I told them I wasn't interested.  The woman with a heavy foreign accent said if my computer was on and I didn't do what she says she would crash my computer!!!

This person continues to call for an employee that no longer works for us can you please tell me how I can get this to stop?  We are a place of business and cannot accept these calls every 2 minutes.

They said my operating system (Windows) was causing a warning in the technical department. He directed me through several steps on my computer to show me the warnings. Then asked me to hit CNTL and the windows key. That's when I said NO. He almost had me. Don't usually even answer phone calls I don't know, but it said SIEMENS and I was curious. I hate to think I got so close to doing what he said. NO MORE!

A man with an Indian accent called me to tell me that they had been tracking my computer and noticed a lot of malicious virus on it that was interfering with my windows computer. I told him I worked in IT and would fix it. He said so you don't want to fix the problem? I told him I did and would take care of it, he then hung up.

Definitely a scam.

They called my Google voice number but I didn't answer. I see the number listed though with no message left. Google says they called in October- 10/16/13 5:38 PM. (Shows you how often I check my messages!). They are in Fairfax, VA I guess.
