I also started receiving calls from this number. I called them back and got a message explaining who called and by pushing the correct response I could remove my number from their system permanently.

Just call them back and follow the recorded directions to be removed from their calling list.

I actually WOULD hold it against them, no matter who they are and what they are doing, because they do not have the right to test out their new gadgets on me.  They are exchanging the value of their time versus the value of my time.  I should have a say in that decisin.

call the number back. There is a short message and there is a chance to get off the list.  Press 1 after the message.  The message then says it could take 30 days to process.  Better than banging your heads.

I get calls from this number ALL the time-even on Sundays.  I push the ignore button on my cellphone and never answer it.  I want to know how they have gotten my private cellphone number.  I am registered on the Do Not Call List.

Thank you for your aptly written synopsis.  It helps us review and think about our current situations and who is cajoling us.  I also get calls from this number.  Now we are not deceived by their call. thanks

I keep getting hang up calls on my cell phone from this number all hours of the day and night! Here in SC we do have laws that cover this type of situation and if I continue to receive these unwanted calls from this phone number I will have no choice but to take legal action afforded to me by the laws of SC. If the source is identified?

Hi, I don't remember giving them my number either, and they've been calling me a lot for months. But I do recall filling out one of their online petitions, although I cannot remember if I had to enter my phone number into it. It could be possible that you or your wife filled out one of those online petitions and entered a phone number.

I just called the number back and did not get a busy signal this time but a recorded message. It identified itself as "Liberty Council" and said they are sorry they missed me when they called and will try to call me again later.

Same here! I don't get what the point is of calling someone if they are not going to say anything. I suspect they are testing to see what phone numbers get answered so they know they have a "live" number. That way, when they try to sell something or do a survey, they know they have a real phone number. Very annoying.

This number keeps calling me. Usually I am away from my phone when they call and they do not leave a voice mail. I have been able to answer it twice now and each time I answer and say "hello" they hang up on me. How rude. Why bother to call someone if you're not going to talk? What's the point??

Annoying calls for many moths now. The phone calls can happen every day sometimes but no one ever picks up the phone on the other end. I'm thinking they are robo calls and they don't care if they miss most of the people who pick up.

Its a global conspiracy to create a global conspiracy and they get yuor numbers and call you to freak you out. The evil henchmen of the Ilumminati and the Freemasons are coming out of the woodwork. We are watching you watching us watching you watching us watching you watching the girl at the beach,,,,oh i almost forgot BOO! Go to www.getalifeconspiracynuts.com to find out whos watching you watching us. Its all so very creeeeeeepy (eyes rolling). C'mon people, they get your number the same way 24 hr fitness does. At some point you gave your cell or home number out to them or an affiliate on a petition or mailing request and that is how they continue to survive. They have to call and ask for money because there are not many of us calling them offering them money without being asked. You praise them for all they do in the fight against the Marxist takeover yet what do you do to help them other than come on here and talk about conspiracies like a bunch of old ladies in the beauty salon? Suck it up, its a phone call. You can ignore it or better yet you can pick it up and donate a few buck to them. Take it easy guys, relax, life is short and so is Liberty if we dont do something about it.

Totally agree with you, David!  I am also on the Liberty Counsel.org email list but have NEVER given them my phone number.  This REALLY irks me.  Huge invasion of privacy (my cell phone numbers are PRIVATE!)  So HOW did they get my numbers?  Big Brother tactics by Mat Staver & Liberty Counsel?  SHAME ON THEM!

Before this, I appreciated the legal work Mat & Liberty Counsel does securing freedom of speech, family values, pro-life, pro-Christianity, anti-ObamaCare, etc.  But resorting to Big Brother privacy invasion is crossing the line.

HOWEVER, since Mat Staver is still listed online as a 1996 & 1998 member of the secretive CNP (COUNCIL FOR NATIONAL POLICY) which is described by conspiracy researchers as the "domestic version" of the CFR (COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS), I have always had trouble trusting Staver fully.  The CNP member lists are private so no way to know if Staver is still a member short of asking him.  The CNP member lists from prior decades were obtained many years ago via IFAS.org, a freedom watch group that is no longer online (see below).

The globalist dialectic works like this:  They control BOTH sides of every issue.  It could be that Staver's Liberty Counsel Org is for the purpose of "gathering, controlling, steering, neutralizing" the "Christian dissidents" who disagree with the Communist (Zionist) takeover of America.  Staver is definitely a socalled "Christian Zionist" who went to Israel several months ago with his wife & had private meetings with Netanyahu; & like John Hagee & others, Staver encourages Christian support of the modern Zionist/Communist, anti-God, anti-Biblical, Freemasonic, Lucifer-loving, Rothschild-established (not God-established) MODERN Nation of Israel.  Anyone who promotes Modern Israel (whether wittingly or not), is setting up innocent, unknowing Jews to be deceived by the future Antichrist since he will deceive Israel first & foremost as their supposed "Jewish Messiah."

Not sure how long Staver has resorted to "telemarketing" calls (I've only noticed the 703 area code calls more recently, no voice msgs are ever left).  It wouldn't surprise me if the telemarketing company being used is Mossad-owned (how else would they access our private cell #s?)

Staver originally was a Seventh Day Adventist pastor (still SDA or Evangelical, I don't know), went on to become an attorney (Orlando) & lobbyist (Tallahassee) before he went non-profit.  I first became aware of him via the Orlando "Good Life Channel" where he would give weekly updates on current law cases they were working on.

His main LC org is in Orlando with later offices in VA, DC, TX, & most recently, Jerusalem, Israel.  He is now also the VP & Dean of the VA-based Liberty University Law School:

Mathew D. Staver, Vice President, Liberty University; Dean and Professor of Law; Director, Liberty Center for Law and Policy:
http://law.liberty.edu/index.cfm?PID=7252  (I see they have a "new" 2-week "on location crash course" re Israel, Law, & Policy:
http://www.law.liberty.edu/index.cfm?PID=25092 )

Contact LC.org & let Staver know we do not agree to privacy invasion of our phone #s, nor to annoying telemarketing tactics:

FYI:  Other "lawyers for Christianity & the American way" such as Jay Sekulow (American Center for Law & Justice) & John Whitehead (Rutherford Institute) are also on the above secretive CNP member lists.

A 2006 quote (from one of the above "detailed" CNP researchers) at a forum that is no longer online:

"...the Council for National Policy, the policy-making body and funding conduit for the Religious Right. The 500+ member CNP is not a Christian organization but is comprised of Freemasons, CFR members, UN representatives and affiliates, Knights of Malta, Moonies, former-Nazis, neo-Nazis, a former Grand Kilgrapp of the Ku Klux Klan, Mormons, Roman Catholics, Opus Dei members, Scientologists, Church Universal & Triumphant, and even a Rothschild. In short, numerous occult, subversive and criminal organizations are represented in the CNP, ... and these cults and secret societies collaborate to establish the agenda of the Christian Right. For more information, see: http://watch-unto- prayer.org/cnp.html ..." End Quote.

A search result at Staver's LC.org site 5/7/12 only has one result for the CNP dated 8/26/09 which lists Becky Norton Dunlap as the then current president of the CNP:
http://www.lc.org/media/9980/attachments/memo ... uits_082609.pdf

If Staver has renounced his association with the CNP, he should publicly say so & plaster it all over his website.  Otherwise, he remains suspect.

Just called for the first time.  I answered, dead air for a second and then they hung up.  If it is indeed the Liberty Council, which I would gladly support, they should say something.  It was an Unknown call with the number listed.  I am also on the DNC list. Cease and desist or speak, I say! I don't have time for this sort of thing as I have my own page C.R.A.W.L. (Civil Righteous Americans Want Liberty) on facebook.  People come to me, however and I would NEVER call someone without their express permission.  Join me if you like my cause.  God bless America and to hell with communism, racial hatred and islam (because they want to kill us and are invading our country! Nuff said!
