They call a couple times a week and never leave a message or speak.

12/17 Just received 2 calls today from this phone number. When i didn't recognize the area code, I picked up but did not speak. No one talked and the call ended.

they said they were a mortgage company does anyone know anything about them

We keep getting calls from this #. I usually don't answer calls from #s I don't recognize, but I decided to this time to find out who the heck they are. When I answer, noone says anything. So when they called the 2nd time today, I said, "Stop calling me if you're not going to    say anything when I answer!"

They call multiple times a day at my home as well, but no one answers when we pick up.  When we try to call back we get a message saying the number is no longer in service.

This number called my home phone and hung up without leaving a message three times today. The caller ID says "Sterling, VA." I do not have debt collectors calling my home, and so it's doubtful that this is a collection agency unless they have the wrong number.

I get calls from this number 2-3 times/day at all hours of the day, and it has become beyond intrusive.  Answering machine always picks up, but a message is never left.  I tried calling the number back, but it says, "The number you have reached is not in service."  My guess is that it's a debt collector for my step-daughter who used to live here.  Whenever I am able to speak to the numerous ones that call, they always ask for info on how to reach her, to which I respond, "I'm not at liberty to say", then ask them to remove my number.
