This number just called me and there's no one there - just static. Very annoying.

I get calls from this number a lot. I think it is Liberty Counsel. But its border line harassment. When I answer the call, there is no one there. My guess is that its a call center placing auto calls. When the computer detects that someone has answered the phone, its passed to a live person. At least, that is how I think it works.

Received a call  3:37 hung up after two rings

calls at random times, random days.  I have a daughter in Virginia, so i thought maybe she was using a friend's phone. When I said,"Hello." nobody answered.  The line was live, but nobody would answer. I finally hung up. I kept getting calls.  I don't answer.  How can I get this to stop?

Thank you for taking the time to call them back..AND WAIT! I had, indeed, signed up for their NEWSLETTER..but...not calls. So..again...It was as 'easy' as you said..though..the "waiting"..would not be anticipated by most of us..had YOU NOT MENTIONED IT!

it is liberty counsel a political action group. They do good stuff but hound you for money so they cn and I assume line their pocket also.

This # keeps calling.  I finally answer and this guy is on the other end just laughing.  He asked for the Mrs. and I hung up on him.

I receive calls from this number almost every day of the week. My phone rings twice and then no one is on the line! When I called the number I get a recording. Donor Care Center calling on behalf of Liberty Counsel.

I receive calls daily. Two rings and then disconnect. Caller ID "Unkown Name"

When I answer, no one is there.

Nothing is as irritating as people that call, conduct surveys, or telemarket, and never leave full identifying information as to who they really are, or whom they are working for, and what they really want.

At that point there is no difference between them and Marxist-Socialist Obama who says one thing, and flat out lies in the process, by doing something else.

Given that this is Liberty Counsel, and a reputable organization, it's frustrating that their telemarketing arm acts so very sleazy! The organization itself fights evil, but the approach they are using thru some telemarketing arm doesn't reflect well.

I agree. That is EXACTLY what happens if u call them back and do whatever they say..... Just as the "click this link to remove your email address from our database" does on spam emails..

Once you click the link, or in the phone case, respond to the call, you are simply CONFIRMING the information they have (about YOU) in their database.

Don't answer, don't reply......... Report them to the authorities that manage the OFFICIAL "Do Not Call" websites (for spam emails) or whomever provides your telephone service (for stupid calls from this number).

I have on occasion, HAD fun with these numbers.... I call them, over and over and over from various locations while traveling on business... (when TOTALLY BORED... better than sitting in a hotel room watching tv). use your imagination! Be creative! If enough of us did this, maybe they would get it... Andy Rooney started the trend (supposedly) with junk mail.... Have FUN!

Calls even on weekends.. ROBOT CALLS?? Real aggravating....!!

To everybody that gets this type of call, get phones that display the number and name on the screen, and or plug your Satalite or cable reciever into your phone line and do screening there because it come up on your T.V. screen automatically.

Also additionally, just pick up the line( Phone) and just listen, if someone finally answers, just listen and offer no response, they will have wasted their time and money and will hang up. You win, they lose.
Eventually, they will get the point and remove you from the list. I do this and it works.

Eventually, these people will get the idea, that we people are "SCREENING" their phone calls and will give up doing this kind of calling.

I have no idea who this person(s) is. I am ignoring the calls. I did return call and could not understand the message, however, I am not about to push any buttons. Who knows if that will allow them access to your phone so they can make long distance calls.

Sick and tired of these calls. They could at least be man enough to leave a message or talk to you when you answer the phone.

Yes, I did sign their petition for anti-same sex marriages, let alone marrying the animal-of-your-choice, etc. Or your animal has just as much rights as humans? or for drive-thru abortion clinics, all of which are vial and should be put to a halt.

They do ask for your phone number as validation, however, even though I read very, very carefully, providing the number as validation of the vote did not state they would call you incessantly!

We never answer any long distance phone calls of this sort, and dump them into voice jail. Naturally, no message is ever left.

However, receiving a phone call from them last night at 8:28 PM was a bit too much.

For a conservative group, that believes in God, the Bible, etc. -- all of which I'm proud to say I do, too -- this incessant calling at late hours does not do favor to their case. Yes, we need to take control of our out-of-control government, but late night calls isn?t helping.

In all fairness to them, I suspect they have some call center attending to this, and the call center typically has your typical pimple-faced, twenty-something, Y-generation, clueless people that chain-smoke, making a few bucks, relentlessly calling you, because of the pressure from their dopey, sweat-shop style boss puts them thru.

Again, this doesn't present their case in the best light. We now simply do not answer the call, and they never leave a message!

I only wish that they had a default of opt-in meaning do not call us, unless we specifically ask you to. Signing a petition, that we concur with, but then being hounded with phone calls endlessly is very irritating.

I am getting tired of this! I didn't lose a thing at Liberty Council and don't suspect I ever will. So GO AWAY!!!
