On the message: Called me by name. Identified himself, but didn't identify the company he represented. Just told me to call him back. Super informal. I was military long time ago, but haven't been Tricare eligible for years. Not returning this call. Confirming a spam list maybe?

I received a call from this number... The funny thing is, my number is incorrect in the TriCare system (caught that yesterday on a referral) and they still managed. I didn't answer since I don't ever receive US calls on my European cell phone (yes folks, stationed in Europe). Since the country code is certainly not in the norm for just selecting random phone numbers, this seems directed at military members in some way. I will not be answering, I think it's best.

this is why i hate giving personal info to different agency's on base other than my sq, what makes them think that is ok to give my personal number to these a-holes I just received a phone call at 19:35.  another example of why i am separating and want nothing more to do with this bloated wasteful military and government in general after 11 years on active duty.  I didnt answer but i also have had several clinic appts in the last few days

They're still using this number in 2013, it appears.  I did not answer, but I also received care at an on-base medical clinic two days ago.  Likely the same thing as reported before.

Received call from this number (703) 379-5456 after 6 pm. It is not ok to call me at dinner time to ask me anything. Where is the survey to ask if the survey was conducted at a decent time?

I received a 3 minute voice mail at 1:38 in the afternoon on 4 Dec 2012 from this number with nothing but breathing and crunching, eating noises.  No message, but the person was obviously wearing a headset or had the phone close to their face.

Yes...it's just a survery STA line. I called it back and that's what it says when the recording picks up. If it was for appointments then it would a local number....it's not local for me!!

If.you have.recently had an appointment on base then this number is safe.  It is.just an indenpendent survey company that tricare uses to rate.the level of service you received.  They so not collect.personal information so you can.safely let the base medical group know what you think of the.medical. are.you received.

doesn't matter to me who's calling.  you don't leave a message, it ain't important...so stop calling.

Just got a phone call from this phone number as well, didn't answer it because it was not a number/area code i recognized.  Thank for the info glad I didn't answer now.

It was a follow up call from Yokota hospital.

I just got a call from this number. I see that a lot of people who answered the call say they asked about your previous medical appointment. I did just have a medical appointment the day before I received this call, but I doubt the Air Force or Tricare would care enough to have a third party call us, and if they did, that company would be very easy to track down online. Pretty much any contract the the AF holds to do this type of costumer service, you would have been told about in advance. It might be related to SAIC's "loss of your personally identifiable and protected health information". If that loss effected you, you would have received a letter in the mail to notify you. It's Probably best not to tell them anything or even answer the call.

Brian, when they call they say they are a contractor.  I get these calls all the time after I've had an appointment.  Had one yesterday and missed a call from them today.  They ask very general/broad questions about satisfaction and they tell you for which appointment they are surveying.  As this number is calling folks at so many different regions...I believe the contract is probably at a higher level than at base level and they have access to general appointment information.  It is kind of irratating because if I had a problem...I would take it to patient advocacy.

Yes I'm in Italy  my husbend and I are in U.S.A.F. some number came cross my cell today. I did not pick up did know the number but I look up the number here I'm on this web page all I have to say with every one else don't pick up this number looks like some thing is going on with military familys with this number!!!

Who is this

It's just a follow up survey to see how the care was at your last appt. I get them every time my children or I visit a Dr. on base. I've been answering them for 6 years, never had any problems with my identification or telemarketers. I'd say it's totally legit, but if you don't feel like answering then ignore it.

If whoever this is wants info, then they need to leave a message as to just who "they" are, otherwise I merely delete the number from my phone.  And, why do we have some unknown 'person' or entity calling me?  I already receive, by mail, surveys regarding the service I receive from the Base and other medical facilities.  In today's world, any and all unknown phone numbers or organizations are regarded by me are possible scams -- I will not return the calls!

I receved a call from this number around 5pm I think it was the an Air National Guard recruter calling for me I have been in contact with them latley.

Got several calls this week from this number... the only insights that I can add are that:
1) my caller ID for this number showed "Virginia".
2) 703 area code is Arlington county Virginia
3) When called back the recvorded message said that the number was temporarily unavailable
4) My guess... just another friggin' telemarketer.

If you look at the site whocalled.us, it reflects that this number is being cloned by some survey agency retained by an AF medical command or perhaps Tricare.  Either way, apparently it's just a rep asking a few survey questions, and that's the gist of it.  IF it is legitimate (unsure it is), not sure why the AF or Tricare would go through this medium.  They have plenty of other ways of getting info from us, terming it "mandatory" to compel answers.  If it isn't legitimate - then I'm not sure why this is going on; it serves no purpose I can determine.

After researching several sites, this is a established phishing number used by telemarketers to either collect information on you or to validate a mailing/phone listing. Since they are not following federal law on phone solicitation, why do you think any story they would cite would be truthful?...and they do have several stories.  The source of the list they're validating may or may not be legitmate, but it certainly seems to have a preponderance of military members, former minitary members, and thier family members.  

Protect your identity, don't answer.

I got a call a while ago.. cant say it was from this number.
BUT.. it was from a survey .. it was the air force or tricare.. They had sent me tons of surveys i didn't answer them.

They did not request any info from me, other than if I had been the person to see the doctor and how I felt about my care.


Just got another survey AND a phone call from this number.

they called my wifes phone looking for me she gave them no info and they hung up i called the clinic and tricare they said they have no record of this number and that they have nothing to do with this number. i called OSI and they said to not answer and dont give them any info. stay smart and dont give out any info at all!!!

I work at the Med Group, this is an operator (like the appointment line). It is a legit number. It is completely anonymous, it is to make sure that members are reciving proper care. This way if you didnt like your Doc and you dont want to write a comment card you can just tell the operator. NOW if they ask for ANY info it is a scam the Contracted Operator should ask ONLY about if you recived proper care if you had any comments, etc. If they ask name, number, SSN, Branch of Service, ETC Hang up immediatly. You can also tell the operator at the begining of the call you dont want to answer and hang up. It's not Mandatory AT ALL. Hope this helps! :)

Hmmm You know I could say I worked at my base Clinic, or that I too worked for tri N care....Now I'm REALY suspicious!  TRUST NO ONE...Not even if they TELL you in an online BLOG that they're legit!

I just got a phone call from them a few minutes ago but I was on the other line and couldn't answer. They didn't leave a message or anything. The first guy said it was his National Guard Recruiter.. Other people say TriCare... To me it seems if they were calling to ask about our care they'd go ahead and leave a message.. I am in the Tricare South region, so is everybody else getting calls from them in the south as well? Because North and South don't really work together so it'd be weird to have them call everybody from both regions.

It's Tricare conducting a survey. Most likely from a recent appointment you had.
