Called for me saying that they were part of the government and needed to speak with me.  Not stating who they were or what they wanted.  I wasn't there so they hung up.  Creepy

Called for me but wasnt home, said they would call back in 15 minutes but didnt. Strange.

When I call this number back it says that the call cannot be completed.

Got a call from this number but when I called them back it is a non working number??

I got a call from this number asking for my husband's first name. The guy who called was "Vinod". I thought it's someone who knows my husband. I said he was busy on another call. He asked what company he was working for. I mentioned that and then he said he would call back in the evening and asked for his cell number. I gave it and then started wondering who it was. My husband said he doesn't know who it was.

For some reason, I doubt there's any department of the federal government that has a Caller ID tag that shows up as merely "US Government" or "DOD".

I know that scammers and some telemarketers are somehow able to assign themselves any Caller ID tag they want. I don't know if it's a software product or some hardware gadget, but I've received scam calls before where the scammer altered his Caller ID phone number and name to whatever he wanted.

Ma: Hello
Him: I am with the Department of Defense and looking for C_____ _______.
Ma: ________ doesn't live her anymore.
Him: Okay, bye.

This was a phone call to my ma asking for me. Creepy? I work for the DOD.

Lace: hello
Her: Hello this is the Department of Defense id like to speak to J___ ______ .
Lace: Hes not home right now, he'll be home in about a hour.
Her: Okay ill call back then.

I go to call her back, and its a Non working number. only seconds after she called. Weird =P and creepy.

Ring...

ME: "This is Bob."

HER: "Uh, Hi... I'm doing some uh, internet research and I was wondering... Is this part of the 'emerging church'?"

ME: "Yeah... I guess we'd consider evergreen a part of that."

HER: "Well, all I got to say is- God help you for trying to destroy Christianity!'
