Called this morning and left no voice mail.  If you can't take a minute to tell me who you are and what company you're calling from then you don't deserve a call back or for me to answer next time you call.  I don't answer numbers I don't know.  Oh well.  I really wish the iphone had an app for blocking all calls except those from your contact list.

This number left a recorded message on my machine asking if it was me and if someone could take a message for me.  It also said that if it wasn't me, to push a certain number.  Then it just hung up.

Called me too. I did a reverse look up and it's actually Engleside, VA. (3 hours southwest from Washington D.C.) There's quite a few posts about this number..

Called on 2/24, but didn't leave a message.  I'm getting sick of all these calls.  I guess it doesn't matter if you're on the Do Not Call List.

I received a call today from this # 703-454-3003 and they left me a vm msg saying they were from my electric/gas company. I live in RI and that's a VA # huh????

I think this is an outsourced call center for a bunch of utility companies. If this number is calling you, it may be that a utility company (power, gas, water, etc...) is trying to get in touch with you. In my case I was just late with a payment.

Because of a "senior moment" I had a gas utility check come back NSF.  I didn't answer this call and they left no message but I'm guessing that the poster who said it was some kind of collection agency is probably right.

keeps calling no messaage left which is fairly stupid why not say why you keep calling. Personally I don't care they need to say why they're calling instead of numerous blank messages.

Got calls several times this week from (703) 454-3003--we are on a do not call list. Busy signal when you try to call them back.

Been recieving call for a couple of days from this number they never leave a message.  After reading this posts I figured that is was NCO Financial telling me that my gas bill is overdue so I answered it tonight.  Funny how these utility companies are calling so soon after the due date. My bill was due on April 9th and it doesn't get billed again until April 17th.  I get paid on the 15th so I pay my gas bill online on the 15th of the month before the next billing date so I don't get hit with a late charge.  Oh and yes after the automated anouncements and the 3 ways you can pay your bill you can talk to a live operator and yes is was Sunjeev.

It was National Grid telling us our electric bill was overdue.

My suspicion is that it is National Grid. The reason I think that is because I have a bill for them and they keep calling me from an Unkhown Number and from a number ending in "0000000". It's really annoying because I just sent the bill out.

I just recieved a call from this number today (2-25-09). They did not leave a message and when I called it back it was a busy signal also.

I also got a call from this number @8:36am. I called the number back and only get a fast busy signal

caller ID SAID PRIVATE NAME,PRIVATE NUMBER,MY VOICE RECORDER PICKED UP. AS THE RECORDER WAS PLAYING I COULD HEAR THE SAME RECORDING SAYING THAT THIS IS THE GAS COMPANY CALL FOR (MY NAME)AND THEN IT HUNG UP AS SOON AS MY VOICE RECORDER WAS FINISHED. THEY CALLED BACK 2 MIN LATER, THIS TIME THE ID CAME IN AS UNKNOWN NAME, UNKNOWN NUMBER. BEFORE THE PRIVATE NAME AND NUMBER IT CAME ON THE ID AS A CALL FROM VIRGINIA WITH THE NUMBER 703-454-3003.

Yeah it seems like some gas / electric companies use this number to notify you of a late payment or something like that... wouldn't worry about it, if it calls you again and you answer you'll probably get a recording telling you to pay your bill. If not, something along those lines.

Hi all I think this is  feature some companies have when they make an out going call it appears like this on ur caller ID mostly from bill collecters or if u get a longdistance call from someone using an Internet cafe over sea.  The best thing to do is scan ur phone bill and make sure there are no funny charges relating to that number if so report it to your carrier ASAP

They called me at home at 3:46pm and did not leave a message.   Who the heck is this?  I tried to call back and received a busy signal like many of the other posts I have read.

It is a virginia #, never says anything on the other end, or leaves a message on my ans. machine. I have an unlisted #, plus it's unlisted enough for those tracking me down, cannot even find it in the directory assistance service. I want it off of my caller ID forever, esp. if it's some scammer& I want to be off of their to call list.

This # is from virginia & calling me. Why? Doesn't let you call back.

same here and i call back and its a busy number and then it hangs up. very weird because I dont get strange calls on my cell phone til this one.
