I also received a text from this same number n the heading, saying, "Free Best Buy giftcard available for a limited time. http://chooseyourfreegiftcard.com"! And, I don't even shop at Best Buy! I'm sorry I'm lying, I bought a computer there with cash almost 2 years ago! I've also been receiving withheld phone calls, saying, I won a watch and I have been entered into a sweepstakes for $25,000 and all these free magazines for 60 months but after that's up, I'll still be receiving them for only $4.99 a month, and they just needed my card number verified, I don't pay anything until later and on and on he went.....I am soo annoyed with this whole situation!!!!

These idiots called my cellphone at 4:14 in the morning. Besides scaring my family half to death due to family illnesses, they then send me a text message about winning something from Best Buy. I can't believe that this is truly Best Buy but whoever it is needs to be investigated and shut down!

They texted my cell at 3:30 AM. This company should definitely be reported to the phone company and they should not be allowed to have service.

This may be a scam. To get the freebie, you'll have to give them your credit/debit card number for a small shipping charge but what they won't tell you is buried in the fine print is authorization to negative-option bill your card for nonsense subscriptions. Negative-option means they keep charging every month until you cancel the subscriptions but the scammers sometimes make it very difficult to cancel. The scammers can obviously also bang a big charge on your card. Your card issuer may or may not agree to stop the subscriptions and give you the money back because you'd agreed to them in the fine print even though you were completely unaware of them. The safest thing to do is not to reply to the message.

This came in as a text message at 7:00am this morning stating I won a free gift card at Best Buy. I didn't bite. My number is unlisted and I don't give it out.
