This is Fairfax County Police. After calling 911, they called back to verify our call.

More than once I have had them call to verify a 911 call from my phone when none was made.  Just now they called three times.  My phone was in my purse on the other side of the room.

I just received 3 calls in a row from this number, but i keep trying to call back and it is not a good number

peoples cell phones accidently dial 911 all day long. if we get a 911 hang up, we have to call back and make sure you are ok. I just got a call from this # and googled and found out it's one of the outgoing numbers. these numbers don't get incoming calls. if you have questions you call the non-emergency fairfax county pd #

This is a phone from within the Fairfax County Police (911 Dispatch call center), a friend of mine called from there last night while at work.  This phone # does not accept inbound calls though.  :~)

I received a call from this number and did not know who they are  I do not want them calling my cell phone

Received a phone call from this phone number at 2:27 am on November 2, 2007.  Please do not call my cell phone again. I do not know who you are or the purpose of your phone call. Shortly later at 3:09 am on November 2, 2007, received another phone call. The caller indicated he was from Fairfax County Police Department and asked if I knew a specific person. Later in the morning, I have been attempting to call this phone number and receive a busy signal.

Jeff, same thing happened to me not 10 minutes ago. Does anyone know if this is legit?

Apparently this is Fairfax County Police, they called me claiming I called them... which I didn't so that was a bit weird.

I dont know who this is, but I dont want them calling.
