When are the Feds going to arrest and prosecute these bandits?

I hve contributed several times to the NRA when called by htis number. Each time I recieved a thank you letter confirming my contribution from the NRA. Several times I have recieved thank you gifts such as mugs or pocket knives all from the NRA. I have researched information given to me from my contact with this number and it is always correct and accurate.

My caller ID shows AACC when this number comes up. I do not answer if I don't recognize who is calling, so don't know what they want.

We've been getting calls from this number at least once a day for the past month. First the collar ID said NRA, then it said National Rifle Association. We don't pick up on it and they never leave a message. They even call two or three times a day sometimes.

Have been receiving daily calls, including mid-morning Sunday, from NRA 703-656-9968. This has been going on for more than a month.  Evidentally being on the Do Not Call Registry doesn't pertain to this number, however, it should, as this is nuisance-calling.

Everyone ~  This IS NOT the NRA.  I just called the number and got a recording identifying themselves as Asset Acceptance, which is a COLLECTION AGENCY.  If you do not owe any creditors money, then they are looking for someone who last used your telephone number or has a name similar to yours.  If you tell them you are not the person they're looking for & they continue to call you, you need to file a complaint with your state Attorney General's Consumer Protection office.

This number does come up as NRA on my phone. They call at least 3 times a night. I don't know if they call during the day since I'm at work but 3 times last night between 5 - 9. I always let it go to the answering machine and they never leave a message.

I let the caller go to voice mail and then I check it.  I can hear noise on the other end almost like someone is just waiting for a "hello."

I have been receiving calls from this number for over a month and who ever is on the phone do not respond, so I stopped answering my phone when I see the number.

We have received numerous calls from this number for the past 2 weeks, and not just once a day, but up to 3 times! We have 2 small children that they have woken up and I want this to stop! They never answer and they never leave a message. How do I stop this?

Caller ID says either NRA or Out of Area. We've been receiving at least one call a day, sometimes more, for at least a month. They never leave a message. We picked up once, and no one was on the other end, but it never hung up, either.

If this doesn't stop, lack of donation will be followed with possible dropping of membership!

We received a phone call from 703-656-9939 between 8 and 9 AM for the past four days. When we say hello, their is no answer nor do they hang up. Five days ago it was a different number of 702-520-1271 which was another 3 days. It is truly getting old. I am not sure if this has something to do with the NRA.

THey have called everyday between the hours of 8:00am to 10:00 everyday for that last week and they also do not say anything when I answer.

I got calls every day from NRA 703-398-0839---Last night they called me 4 times. When I try to call the number back you get a recording that it is a telemarketer

Since June 3, I have received 177 calls from the NRA.  Multiple calls every day.  I have been on the DNC list since it's inception.  I have never been a member of the NRA.  I NEVER answer my phone for unknown, unavailable, out of area, known or unknown telemarketers.  Do these people ever give up??

Ntl Riffle Association.  This just gives them a bad name.  You'd think they would do something about it.  I talked to someone and asked who they were.  They still call....I hate these bastards.

Keeps calling

Two calls everyday on my phone -- one in the am and one in the pm. Sometimes the # is 703-656-9939.  Other times the # is 703-656-9940.  I'm not home in the am so call goes to voicemail but no message is ever left.  When I am home in the evening, I do not answer the call.  I have received these calls everyday, including Sundays, for the last 2 months.  Do they ever give up?

I just got a call from these people today. They are Assest Acceptance and are supposedly debt collectors, for who i do not know. The lady who answered was named Amanda and said my father has a debt with them. She gave me a 1-877-768-9844 ext. 3861 to have him call back and speak with her. This is supposedly her direct line. But yet she calls from 1-703-656-9939, go figure. We have never received any info in the mail from these people about this so called debt. BE CAREFUL!!!!!! These people may be phony.

This is such BS!! I moved about 3  years ago and acquired the number I have from the phone company. I am also on the do not call registry, and am ALSO unlisted in the phone book. For the next two years I had collection agencies calling me for someone named charles hamilton, so i finally contacted the phone company and started blocking all the numbers calling me.

I had quite the list for awhile, all across the nation, It was absolutely outrageous!! Yesterday I finally took the block off my phone, and today I got the first call for someone named Owen Scot, I think these are bogus names they are asking for. She kept saying, "Is owen scot there?" and I just kept repeating HELLO!!!!! SHE FINALLY HUNG UP.

Someone above said something about subscribing to something, like a magazine and then selling the addresses, this sounds possible to me, however, it still doesnt explain why they would ask for someone who isnt at this address.

What stinks is that I have an added charge on my phone bill for blocking services.  And after 2 years of this nonsense I AM STILL PAYING FOR THIS BS!!!!!!!!!!!!
