Fleabag debt collectors. They called me all day and into the night and either hung up, or there was no one the line. If you tell them not to call anymore they MUST stop. If that doesn't work send a letter to: Encore Receivable Management Inc. -- ERMI -- 400 N. Rogers Road, Olathe KS 66062 with proof of delivery. If they still persist report them to the FDCPA and FTC. I did and voila no more calls. Most of the calls originate from Manassas VA and they use several different numbers. The "manager's" name is Ben. They are usually trying to collect for GE Money Bank. Try filing a complaint with GE informing they will also be named to the FDCPA and FTC.

Receiving calls for my daughter who does not reside at my residence. They need to stop the calls and find out the correct number for the person who they are trying to reach. More than one call per day is harrasment. Any call to the wrong address is harrasment. What happened to the DO NOT CALL LIST for telemarkerters etc.?

Non-stop calls from "whoever" this is. Never leaves a message. After readng the other comments, someone needs to stop them. They call all day long, weekdays, weekends, holidays.

Daily calls.  When we answer there is not a live person @ the other end.  It appears that we are on some automated system.  This needs to cease and desist!!

Same as the rest of you, only they are calling my cell phone.  I ahve reported them to the DNC registry - if that does any good.  Since this has just started, I imagine it has only jsut begun for me. I alson don't intend to answer or call them back.

calls several times a day.  I typically don't answer calls or call back, unless whoever is calling leaves a message.  My wife answered once and asked whom they wanted.  The man said a name we didn't even recognize, so she said it was the wrong number.  The calls stopped for one day, now back to normal.  It's 7:30pm now, and I've gotten seven calls from them today.

How can we stop this fraud company calling you and tried to get your financial information? My gf got several calls from them. I called T-Mobile and addressed our concern, the rep said "Not thing we can do". We are very upset. We registered "Do not call list" and this fraud company still our cell phone number (We don't know how).

Several calls a day, from this number and a few others.  next time pick up and say "trap, and the time" and hang up.

calls 5-8 times a day---no onew there.  I don't answer anymore--just ignore it.

Calls every 25-30 mins, no message, no nothing very annoying.

Calls non stop 1-3 times an hour, between 6 am and 10pm usually will not leave a message.

Finally started leaving a really annoying message saying they are "encore receivable management" and that by not hanging up before the message is finished, you are agreeing that you are the debtor they are trying to contact.
So far, I haven't figured out how to get my answering machine to hang up on them. I wonder if that really counts...

The first time they called, the message they left claimed they were "Western Dental" and were calling concerning my account. I don't have dental anything. I haven't been to a dentist in 7 years, so I ignored the message thinking it was a wrong number. Now they are calling (same number on caller id) and claiming they are encore receivable management.

They have called my CELL PHONE at all hours of the day--I mean here it is, a Sunday at 8:45 p.m. and they called my phone!! Who is this company?? Does anyone know how to stop the calls without changing my number?

same here I have told them about 5 times not not to call anymore. I am about to report them to the athorities. The FDCPA states they can not call the consumer at any time the consumer believes is inconvenient and it also states Harassment is anything the CONSUMER feels is harassment. This sure looks like harassment not onl;y to be but to everyone here.

These people are WACKED!! They do NOT have updated info and call me several times a day with no message if I am not home and a recording if I do pick up..the few times I spoke to them they are calling about a debt I am paying on with the merchant....TERRIBLE COMPANY!! I think its a scam!!

Keep getting calls from this number, never leaves a message, and no one on the other end when I answer.  This morning I finally was able to speak to someone, but she said she needed to talk to my wife.  I said she was not in, can I help you?  No, it's a personal matter, and federal law states that she can only talk to my wife.  If it's a financial matter, I have a right to know what is going on.  All she would tell me is that they are a "financial institution".  Very annoying.

Received several calls while on vacation. Never left message. Called back this morning and immediately was connected to a "please hold for the next available representative - your call is very important to us." Rep got on, I asked what company I called and she would only say "We're Encore, a financial services company."
