I got a call from 610-241-7447 with the same speech about winning a Toshiba laptop, cash or Durango.  They told me to go to a Waldorf, MD address.  When he passed me to a supervisor, I said I wasn't interested.  The supervisor then started to argue with me.  I hung up and blocked the number.

I don't know how they got my cell phone number.  Annoying.

I received a call from these guys two weeks ago on our answering machine and was told we filled out a chance to win a new 'automobile' from them and we were picked to win...and were guaranteed one of the top four prizes. The woman was named Joanne and didn't have an accent. I only called back because we attend a lot of wine tastings and things that some company's who are sponsoring the tastings have booths there. Anyway, I also purchased jewelry from a company called Premeire Designs (which is totally a real and awesome company that you have book parties for like Lia Sophia and Tastefully Simple) so I thought they were related. Anyway, I called back today and the guy only asked for my name, my husbands name, and here's where I knew something was wrong. We were supposedly picked out of thousands...and supposed to have won one of the top four prizes yet he says, after having our names, 'we have two people with your last name in our database...are you between the ages of 40 and 70?' Well, we aren't and I told him that but it's pretty surprising that there's only four 'finalists' left and two couples have the same last name... Dumbasses. We also already have a timeshare that was passed down to us from my husbands grandparents so we didn't have to endure the sales talk of it and we are very happy with it, it's been in the family for at least 20 years. He was polite on the phone but wouldn't give me over to this Joanne who called originally, saying he was the manager. Regardless, he wasn't pushy and was brief on the phone, telling me we'd receive a certified letter in the mail if we won. I'm betting it's an invitation to one of those hotels mentioned above and there's no way my husband and I would have gone after seeing that. He never asked me about our incomes or anything other than our names and age range. I'm guessing it's because neither of us are 28 yet...and we're not the target audience he thought we were. We're renting from my husband's mom and his stepdad's name is still the name on our phone bill. I'm betting with a name like Ronald, they assumed we were older. Once again...Dumbasses. Hopefully it will end here now that he knows our ages :)

same story as above

call from : unknown number
caller accent: definitely Indian (specifically South Indian) It took 2-3 min to understand BALLOT.
call on behalf of : AB Promotion

On further I tried to check what is AB Promotion. I found they have a website.
url: http://shopping-promotions.com (the server is darn slow, Keep Patience if you really want to see)

Ran nslookup command in unix box to check the ip, at this I found
  Non-authoritative answer:
  Name:   shopping-promotions.com
  Address: 69.6.195.5

Then I check that IP address for physical location
 http://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/69.6.195.5
its showing a location Columbus, Ohio, 43228. That means the server is located in US.

Then I checked their address in google map (you can find their address at http://shopping-promotions.com/?page_id=30 OR shopping-promotions.com -> contact us)

The address is given there is
2101, Wisconsin Avenue,
NW, Washington DC, 20007

Which is a address of Holiday Inn. haha..

The Ultimate funny thing is that, there are self-written fake testimony of many fake users in their site.

Same thing here. Call was from 828-585-9063. Spoke to some guy first, Indian accent, he walked me through the whole thing. Gave me the address, which was the lobby of the Holiday Inn in NW DC. I interuppted with questions to string the thing out. Passed me off to the manager, Rex something-or-other, who initially spoke with a strange British-sounding accent. Walked me through the whole thing, finally told me that we would have to spend 90 min to claim the prize. Asked if I was interested or wanted to default. Told him "default." He said, "I knew it, you ****ing idot, wasting our time, a******." Funny thing was, his accent completely disappeared at that point, plainly American. Wasted 15 min of their time. If everyone would waste 15 min of their time, maybe it would not be worth it for them?

I got te exact same call from Rex at 301-534-7795. He claimed I submitted a ballot at a shopping mall and that I was the winner. To claim my 3 prizes (tv, cruise, and truck) I had to go to 2101 Wisconsin avenue NW DC 20007. He then transferred me to Jason Wallace who wanted to confirm my reservation. They insisted I bring my significant other. Blah blah blah. Bad reception, hard to understand. While they were calling my back I did some research and found this. And boy am I glad I did!

Thanks!

I got the same message as described above, from a company called "premiere concepts", headquarters at the Holiday Inn Georgetown,  from someone called Adam Walker(who sounded like an immigrant.  He was calling me from the 'call center in North Carolina, phone number 828 367 6078'.  I listened to him for a few minutes, but the story seemed off, so I told him that I was going to decline my prize, which was either a ford, cash, or tv.  He told me that I filled out a card at a Walmart or Kmart or that I spent in excess of $50.00  at a gas station.  I don't shop at Walmart or Kmart, and always pay for gas with the same debit card I've used for years.  Didn't add up.

Received a call tonight (4/26/13) from a company called Premier Concepts on my cell phone!  I neve give out my cell phone number so can imagine how shocked I was.  The caller wanted me to set up a time for myself and my husband to come to the Holiday Inn in George Town, 2101 Wisconsin Ave., Wash., D.C. to claim a prize of either a T.V., Cruise or a Ford Escape.  I never signed up for a sweepstakes from Premier Concepts and I asked the caller if he could read the name of the person associated with my phone number.  He stated that he did not have peoples names--just phone numbers.  This sent up a huge red flag for me!!!  Be careful when you answer your home phone or cell phone if you do not recognize the phone number. The number the caller was calling from: 703-859-9545.

I received a phone call from 703-646-2660 and the first person was asking for the owner of my phone number. i asked whom they were looking for and they did not ask for my name and they continued to say they were looking for the owner to inform that they (myself) have won a random drawing for a sweepstakes that i "entered" which was some time between Christmas and Easter. Funny because i actually keep track of all my spendings and i never fill out surveys or enter sweepstakes.... also i have email addresses for situations where i dont want to be solicited but want to investigate. i let him sell me what ever he wanted to say to me and agreed to listen. He said this was through a purchase made through best buy wal mart kmart sears or something of that nature and claimed i could win a tv, cruise trip, or ford explorer. I dont need a new car, already have cruise planned and just bought new tv so i didnt need any. He goes on and says that i need to go in to this holiday inn at 2101 wisconsin ave nw dc to claim the prize with a scratch off that will be given which will determine my prize and states the times 545 or 745 for weds 24th and thurs 25th of april 2013. he then says he has a confirmation number and that i need to speak with his manager later to confirm my attendance and asks the time i say ill go at 545 for thurs and he transfers me to his manager. he speaks to me and give me the exact same B.S. but i let him continue and then finally when he gets to the part of my attendance i say i was going to confirm thurs 25th at 545 he says he will call back after i have discuss with my significant other. He calls back about 30 minutes later and says a bunch of the same stuff again trying to convince me which i already agreed i will attend and he says all this is a promotion through major companies sponsorship. He asks for my name which i gave and he asks for my significants name and i give an alias instead. he later gives me a confirmation claim number and he asks for my email i give it to him. i have the email which i can post to show everyone. he asks if i have any questions and i state i dont know how they got my number and state i dont ever buy retail which actually i do but have not made purchases in approximately 14 moths... and he feeds me the same crap about making a purchase at those retailers. This is a hoax... they want to sell something trick us to go in so they can get us sucked in to something. i may or may not go to see what its all about.... this guy elviro aaron was polite though and seemed pretty professional he was of an indian accent as well... Be cautious

Got the same call as others have posted from Primer Concepts but the phone number was 828--919-7805.  Said that I had entered a "coupon" at or around Christmas.  First off it sounded kind of fishy since they did not even know my name and the person had a very strong indian or pakistani accent.  I just hung up.

I got a very similar call today from 301 534 7795 (someone named Max but sounded like Chinese) saying I won a raffle because I had entered my name during last christmas at some mall etc and now am eligible for one of the 3-4 prizes: 32" LCD TV, vacation package, ford truck etc and in the process confirmed if I am in a committed relationship and both of us combined earn more than $1300 or not per week. He asked me to go to Premier Concepts
2101 Wisconsin Ave,
NW Washington DC.
Holiday Inn
alongwith my husband anytime around 5PM or 7PM. When I said I cannot, he said he will call next week again and his manager will give some sort of passcode which will be required at the reception of Holiday Inn for me to enter the scratch coupon thing. I was really not convinced and so I confronted him. To this he kept saying again and again that it was some federally abiding giveaway and not a scam or telemarketing stunt. But I was still not sure and so googled the company name and came across this link.
Thanks for all the people who shared their experience. I am not going to waste my time on this any momre.

Got the same call today and actually decided to go to the Holiday In in Georgetown DC. They called asking if I was in the building and I told them I was there but there was a crowd of people at the receptionist.  He insisted I go to the lady receptionist and indicated I am there for the Premier concept event.  I then noticed some two Indian looking men roaming all around the lobby dressed very unprofessionally.  I then asked the guy on the phone to show up at the receptionist's desk and he kept insisting that I should talk to the female reception; guest what, there was no female receptionist!! I immediately knew something was very fishy and left. How do you file the FCC report?

I just got a call from  661 748 0420 saying I won flyer filling out a ballet in October from Toshiba and the prizes were a tv, 25000$ or a cruise for 2 adults. She said I was guaranteed to walk away with one of these prizes, I was speaking to a woman I could barely understand and then was transferred to a general manager where he instructed me to go to their office on Wisconsin ave in Georgetown at a select time. He was hard yo understand and when i kept telling him i couldnt hear what he was saying he got really angry at  me. When I told him I wasn't married he said my parents would come on my behalf because you had to be 28-57 years of age and be married or common law to be eligible? And they could call him back tp set up a time to 'claim my prize'. Thinking now if I had actually won my name would of been on the ballet not just my telephone number. I thought it was legit but now after reading these I'm throwing out the number.

I got a call from them today and they tried to get me to go to an office at the Holiday Inn in Georgetown.  Insisted my husband and I had to come together .   They said I would get a scratch off card that would indicate whether my prize would be a flat screen TV, $2500 cash, or a 7 night cruise to the Bahamas.  From the previous posts, seems clear it would have been the latter.  Obvious scam.  Not clear how they got my cell phone number; they claimed someone had filled out a card to enter me into a contest.

I received a call from-------828-367-6078-----Premier Concepts today.  Same story as everyone else.  I was to report to the Holiday Inn in Georgetown;  2101 Wisconsin Ave. with my husband tomorrow.  When I said my husband was out of town, I was told I could send a substitute couple to pick up my gift at the Gtown HI.  I would have to sit through a 90-minute presentation from Premier's sponsors (Sony was mentioned, Walmart)

I called the Holiday Inn at 202.338.4600 and spoke with Jesse.  I asked him about Premier and yes, that company rents meeting space from Gtown Holiday Inn.  I suggested Gtown HI check the web sites for comments posted by all of us and rethink renting space to this company to avoid Gtown HI getting a bad rap.

I live in Northern VA and Premier Concepts called me today. Same as other peoples experiences: they said I bought something at Best Buy and was entered in a drawing and won either: 32 inch flat screen, 2500 in cash, vacation, or ford explorer worth 25k.  Was supposed to bring my spouse or girlfriend to 2101 wisconsin ave, nw, 20007 or the holiday inn in georgetown to the "gifting suite" to claim my prize.  I thanked him for wasting my time and hung up.

I was the "fortunate" winner of this scam too.  They called me and said word for word what you are all saying here.  They seemed a little annoyed with my questions and inquiry and skepticism.  I had a "local" number for the place where i was supposed to pick up my prize but i had moved. When I told them I had moved, they hung up on me most likely because I would not be able  to go in to sit for a time share presentation. I think that is why they ask that you spouses come in together and that they make over $5000 a month. At least they asked me that.

I received a very similar call from Premier Concepts, but from the number: 661-748-0240.  It was a gentleman with a very strong "Indian (or Pakistani)" accent whos name he told me was Joe Garcia. (really??)
I had filled out a ballot in a shopping center, which was drawn and I was eligible for:
1. 32" toshiba TV
2. $2,500.00 in cash
3. Vacation in various US locations
4. Ford Escape or $25,000.00 in cash.

I was to go to: 2101 Wisconsin Ave.  Washington DC., to claim my prize.
When I mentioned I couldn't go, he told me just come anytime but call before coming.
He then gave me the number 888-958-6745.  I don't think I'll call the number.
I then proceeded to block the original number from my phone.

just like "just me," I got a call from 540-713-5716. They are apparently at the Holiday Inn Georgetown on Wisconsin Ave NW, DC. same 4 prizes: 1) 32" Sony sponsored TV 2) $2500 Cash 3) 7 Day cruise with spouse 4) Ford Truck(?) or 25k cash.

He was actually polite, but they do try and screen you over the phone 'cleverly.' He said to me "you must be at least 28 years old to qualify, married, and making at least $5K/month or about $55K/year, which you are sir. yes? ok, so if you...". I won't say what, but I definitely don't qualify, but they had no clue. I'm pretty sure if I lied they wouldn't have cared. My friend went to one of these (not premier concepts, but the same type of thing), and the 90 minute presentation turned into 150 minutes. they were promised wedding bands, and in the end got some tungsten bands (retail about $20 each) that are going to be shipped to them once they pay a few dollars in shipping. Nobody is going to get $2,500 cash, or a cruise, or a truck, or $25K cash, or probably a TV. if you do get anything, like a TV, it's going to probably be a 720p used/refurbished piece of junk. there is always a catch- longer presentation, crappier gifts. hell, you could get $2,500 of "coupon cash" or something like that.

have some fun on the phone, but don't waste your time going in. i told him that I wasn't interested, so there was no point in going any further, and said OK and hung up.

Received call from 540-713-5716.  They are apparently at the Holiday Inn Georgetown on Wisconsin Ave NW, DC.  Call back number is (630) 216-9318.

Four prizes 1) 32" Sony sponsored TV 2) $2500 Cash 3) 7 Day cruise with spouse 4) Ford Truck(?) or 25k cash.

They try to confirm relationship status with the cruise saying that prize is only available if you are married or in a committed relationship.

They try to confirm income by saying you can only get the vehicle if you earn $1300/wk.

All signs for timeshare qualification.  I balked at the income verification and eventually said that we don't earn that much.  He really wanted me to say that I did earn that much. Gave me 3 or 4 chances to reverse myself. Finally asked if there was someone else "qualified" to accept the prizes.  I told them that who won their drawing was up to them.

Called today at 2:00 pm by a "Jason Wallace" with Premier Concepts saying I utilized a coupon in June. This coupon made me eligible for cash, vacation, car, or electronics. Asked my age bracket and if I has a significant other.

Gave me the 564 Warrenton Rd, Fredericksburg, VA address. (It is a Clarion Inn) He wanted me and my significant other to come in pretty much any day of the week for a "raffle" at 5pm or 7pm. I asked for a number to call him back if needed and he gave: 540-322-1687

Caller ID shows: 773-530-1030
