Got a call from sandy Williams. I calls.back and the lady wont tell me anything but the company name
( aeci)...she said she couldn't go no further until I identify myself. * click. I smell a scam or very unprofessional company!

calling my place of work, unacceptable

Sandra Williams keeps calling about a bill that I owe with Griffith Oil ( another company not to do business with). I owe a little over $60. and have been making my payments to Griffith every month, but ACEI managed to get themselves involved and have called me at work, at all hours, and even though they KNOW I pay Griffith they constantly. When I spoke to " Ms. Williams" I was told that no matter if I keep making payments monthly and to Griffith, that they don't care and will continue to call.

THESE PEOPLE ARE RUDE AND NASTY!

Girl called and asked for Richard and said she was Matty. Told her she had the wrong #. She called me back two more times. On the third time I didn't answer and she left a message asking for Richard

I received a vmail at 11am today from some guy named Tony Moore asking for my ex to call him at 703-253-0870 (which was not the same number as on my CID).  As a courtesy, I called the guy to tell him the person he was attempting to contact didn't live at the number he had called.  He said to me, "At the number you are calling from?"  I said, "Excuse me?"; then he put me on eternal hold.  I hung up.  I figured he was just another collection agency trying to locate my deadbeat ex; then I came here and saw I was right.

They call looking for someone who does not have my phone number. Robo calls and now personal calls. Told them to stop calling this number because the phone number does not belong to the person they are looking for.

Had a message on my answering machine to call a Sony Jackson. He was asking for a Carlos something or other who was not me. I have had several calls from this company asking for this person. I decided to return the call, ask for Sony Jackson and was immediately transfered to him. I did not give him my name, nor any of my personal information. I started to tell him that I was not Carlos and he interrupted me telling me he called the wrong number (almost as if he had known it all along). He promised that my number would be removed from their database. The jury is out on that one. Sounds suspicious to me.

I PAID my balance in November 2010. Itsnow March 2011 and they wontupdate my account. They posted it to my husbands account (and he has his own insurance and bills). I told them I paid MY bill not his-and they said I needed ot put in a request in writing...I said no way! YOU made the error. HOLD she said and cut me off. She came back and said she talked to the VP and they would get it fixed. I said thank you...Send me theo ther bill and Ill get it paid. She freaked out and said Why not pay it NOW? I said I told you Id get it paid, I didnt say ID pay it! She said pay it NOW and call it a day! I said I dont know if hes even GOT a legitimate saccount nor do I know the total. HOLD she screamed an cut me off...

She came back and said I have ot take another call, well getit fixed in a week, but if not call back.CLICK.  I PROMISE you I will track down the manager or VP. They are a SCAMMING company.

I think the company is great there are just doing there job which is collecting med. bill which is not easy

when i called back, told the person there was a ghost standing by thier doord step by the time they got home tonight. I quickly hung up before they could...

I got tons of calls from this number. I thought they looked for a different person as they didn't spell my name correctly. However, I called them back yesterday , tried to help them removed my phone number from their data. The person who first answered my phone apologized to me saying that they called the wrong number and removed my number from their data. but he then transfered my call to another person called Sunny Jackson. Jackson spelled my name correctly and idicated that I owned a hospital 40 USD when I went to the emergency room, which was right. I told them I alredy paid my bill, but I would double check. Jackson then urged me to tell him my credit card number or check information to pay the bill immediately. I told him I would talk with my husband first because he paid my bill already. Today, I called Jackson and told him that I would not arrange any payment until I receive a bill. He said they sent me bill before but got returned as they missed my apartment number. I told him my apartment number and request a bill. However, he got mad and told me that they were not billing company, and threaten me that they would put this debt to my credit report. I said fine. He then gave me an adress to send my request for billing information. I hand off the phone. I don't think I would worry about this issue anymore. I think it is a scam

this company is violating consumer laws u have to id yourself as a debt collector or say mini miranda when calling a cell or hm phone and leaving  a vm...if its a work phone and id as the debtor same if not then they can say " this is sarah ..sandy call me at blah belah blah ......

this company is harassing people for their last dollars ......last time i checked if someone says no and you continue to ask that is harassment ......

I received two messages from a different 800 number for a "Michael Thompson." They both asked me to hang up if I was not Michael Thompson because the call contained "private information." The first time I did hang up. When I called the 800 number back, it disconnected the call without ringing. The second time I did not hang up, that is how I got this number (703-719-9403). I called this number to report that they had my number in their system under someone else's name. They were unapologetic and acted as if I were creating a hassel for them (ironic). The lady had me repeat my number about 6 times and stated "I don't even understand what you are talking about." Just rude in general. If I get another call from them I am going to freak out!!

Before you pay next time you need to send them a request to provide evidence before paying your bill.  You should also request evidence from the original biller.  It is your right under various consumer protection laws.

Tony Morgan from this number keeps calling about 20 times a day on my home phone and cell.. I haven't returned his call yet, hoping he would just quit..He wont tell me in voicemail what the call is relating to, all he says is "hi, I'm calling for Jamie, Jamie and my last name..so weird..i figure if it is a collection agency he can keep calling until he tells my voicemail why he needs to get ahold of me lol.

they call looking for a girl and they wont stop calling

Called 12/18/2009. I did not answer as I never answer calls of this type.
I have no idea who this company is calling for. Based on previous submissions, above, it appears they are referencing hospital bills and emergency room collections. My bills are paid via electronic banking which gives a listing of each medical facility and/or doctor paid. I will continue to ignore thse types of calls.  We re unlsted (have never publishd our phone number) and are on the "Do Not Call List", since it was first operable.

I had a recording call me and then I was transferred to an agent. This girl was such a witch. She yelled in the phone, was the most unprofessional idiot I have ever talked with. Would not give her name so as far as I'm concerned she let her mouth overload her a**. She definetly is a looser.

They've been calling me too and never leave any message.   Can't recall owing any medical bills, but then again the whole insurance/medical system is full of billing errors.

I got a call from this number and Tommy White basically spoke to me as if I was an idiot. But the bill he was talking about was right and he had all of my information so I paid. Should I stop payment on it? And now he keeps calling me because he says I need to speak with his management. Should I answer/call back? kinda confused.

OMG, I had a phone call, well several from this exact person..Tommy. He did the exact same thing to me, being very rude and wouldnt give me details about my bill. He gave me enough information about my bill that I assumed he was right. So if this is a scam, he got me. How do I find out if this is a scam or not?

Yes,it's a collection agency. The guy calling me was Tommy, Tommy  White I think, VERY rude, trying to intimidate me by telling me "so how do I know you owe money to X company, and how do I know your last 4 digits of your SSN are XXXX", etc...it was a real bill that I have from an emergency room, but he just wanted me to give him all my bank information over the phone or post date a check. Yeah right.  Like other person said, he also told me "my time was running out" and that my credit was going to be ruined, etc.  
I'll rather keep the debt than pay to this so-called collector.
How sad that this is what some people do for a living....I can't imagine them going home after work and being nice, regular people....
