I received two calls on Feb 8, 2014. One at 2am and one at 4am. I was jetlagged from a trip and had finally fallen asleep so the timing on these pranks was horrible. Not sure if it was my work or cell phone because the work line forwards to my cell.

Random call at 1:42 AM on a Friday Night / Saturday Morning. Called my Google Voice line which forwards to my cell. Said nothing. Line was silent. Google brought me here when I looked up the number.

I got a call at 4:30 in the morning on my office line which is forwarded to my home. It scared me to death. These people have called a numerous occasions, and I wish they would just stop! There is never a message or anyone on the line.

This number is calling every line in our office, but there is nobody on the line when answered.

Saw 2 missed calls on my line when I got into the office. One at 8:59pm and another at 9:33pm the previous night. No VM. I Googled the number and found lots of posts about the same thing happening for years. Scamming scumbags.

Someone from this number called me at work - left no message.  When you return the call it says there is no mailbox associated with this number

got call from 703-886-1047 at 9:15pm on 9/14/12.  No words in the voicemail.

call received 11:00 pm MDT (6 hours after we closed); call was 25 seconds of silence followed by a hangup.

I receieved a call at 3am 5/9 from this number.  No message. When I returned the call the message said there is no voice mail box set up for this number.

I received a phone call from this number at 10:55pm 5/8/2012.  No voice message left.  When I call back it states no voice mail box has been set up for this number.

got a all from 1047 when I wasnt interested he started swearing and calling me vile names. I hung up then he called back 3 times again abuse

Receive call at 9:14 p.m. (after 11:00 EST, which is where the call originated in Virginia), with hang-up/no response.  Hearing this is a 'penetration test' to find a modem at a company that hackers can use to access an internal network.

These people call our company. Supposedly its a security firm that was performing penetration tests on our systems. They called evey phone in the office. They were actually looking for modems that could be used to hack into your company. Asking for printer information, and getting is a social engineering attack. More then likely if they called your work, someone in your company has hired them to perform some security tests (penetration or social engineering).

Getting multiple calls in our office from this number and a hang up with no message.

703-886-1047 - 16 calls from this number from 7:17 p.m. December 2nd, 2011 through 2:05 a.m. December 3rd, 2011.  No message left.

Call to call from this number on a Friday night at 1:45 in the morning when the world would call me then?

When i came in to work this morning (09-19-11) I had a message consisting of 26 seconds of silence from "VIRGINIA" at this number.  What really caught my eye was that the timestamp indicated 2:35 AM.

Even I got a call from this number and when I returned the call, no one is picking. It says this number is not accepting any calls.

calling every 3 minutes.  STOP

This numbers called me twice in the middle of the night 6/06. STOP

Called at 12:50 p.m. today at work. I didn't pick up..

Called my office number. Hung up after the beep on the machine.

Called my company provided BlackBerry at 9pm on the dot.  Never had a call from this number before, and I don't give out my company phone number as I have a personal cell phone also.  Answered the call, no one replied on the other end.  Hung up.

Received a voicemail from this number on my office line at 7:51 friday night.  Only a 2 second message and then a hangup.

06/10/10 at 10:57. I called the number, but only got a recording stating, "There is no mailbox for this number."

No indication of business/residential affiliation.
