There may be a tie to staying overnight at a Holiday Inn and the fake IHG calling soon afterwards.

IHG is not Hilton affiliated, they are InterContinental Hotels Group dealing with Holiday Inn hotels relations.

just got a call from this #. glad i didnt answer after reading the responses. do have this hotels rewards card but never got calls from them. no msg left. didnt return call.

Received the call from same number and did not answer. They make it look like an international number:
+7 ((038) 869-88-0. I google this number up and read all the comments noted. Thank you all for your comments. I also am a Hiltion member. Somehow, it is either a scam using Hilton's data (our information compromised) or really bad telemarketing by Hilton that I certainly do not appreciate.

Claimed he was from IHG. He knew my name. I stopped him mid sentence and told him I was at work and if this was a solicitation...he hung up on my at that point.  Seemed fishy, could be fraud could be really rude telemarketer or both.

Repeated calls from this number.  I don't answer, and they don't leave a message.

This is legit- they had my IHG number and information about my last hotel stay. No one would have had that information but IHG.

Called from IHG to do a hotel survey at 7:03 am

Received a call from 703-886-9880 on 6/3/2014 at 6:06pm EDT. Caller ID displayed "Name Unavailable". GV already has this number on their spam list so my phone did not ring and the call was immediately directed to voicemail. A message of 16 seconds of silence was left.

Based on the comments posted here I have added this number to my GV block list.

The person of this number has a weird accent, either south american but  certainly not asian or indian. I told him he got the wrong number.

I have gotten calls the past few days from the following:  703-886-9880 and 321-403-4129.  I do not answer calls that I do not recognize.  They did not leave messages and I have since looked the numbers up on line and saw that they are scamming.

gotta call from 703 886 9880 asking for survey, took it, got forwarded to a second person asking for cc down payment for discounted future travel, told them to call back after business hours.  Sounds like scam to me.

Absolute rubbish. The number comes up accompanied by the text: "VA, USA". You have no idea what you're talking about.

I get 5 or 6 calls a week from this number and it really annoys me.

Phone says +17038869880 not russia. I recently stayed at Holiday inn and got an IHG account. Google voice flagged the call as spam so it didn't ring through.

I can't speak for android users but iPhone users can block the number and I recommend doing so.

Don't waste your time!! They claimed to be from IHG (Hilton hotels) and ultimately asked for my CC info. I wouldn't give it to them and he made it seem like I was being ridiculous by not trusting him. They had my name, phone number and address but nothing else. They were offering a 4 night stay at select major cities for $249 but I'd have to pay up front and they would send me a "verbal receipt" which didn't sound legit. They wouldn't send me an email with information and pressured me that it was a first come first serve, so I would miss out on their offer. Complete crap but it can seem promising at first because they do a survey and want to "reward" you for it.

This number calls me at least two times per week and never leaves a message. I did return the call and they are claiming to be IHG Hotels Group.

I received a call from this number, didn't leave a message. Number was identified as being from Virginia. I received an additional call from a very similar number except it had the country code +011, with the exact same following number, 703-886-9880 and my phone identified it as originating in Russia.
I never answer, they never leave a message. I hope it's Putin calling for advice. But he would probably leave a message.

These people keep calling. I have blocked them now.

Two calls from this number,  and it comes in as an international call from Russia. My caller ID recognizes it as a international incoming call. I  never answer and they never leave a message.

I get a call from them at least 2 times per day.

Received a call last week from (703) 886-9880, no voicemail left, then this week from 7 (038) 869-88-0, no voicemail left. Blocked both numbers.
