I'd like them to stop calling, as well; however, my next year's deductible is based on at least minimal interaction with them. It annoys me, though, that they keep nagging at me. My plan is to worm my way through some medical issues I have and THEN call THEM, so the interaction is initiated by me instead of some naggy robocall.

They have called 5 times today, its just a recording that is halfway through by the time I pick up and all I hear is, "call us back if you are interested." It lists the number and when I call back it is disconnected.

someone from this number (703-889-4961) just called my cell (03-03-14). Called back and got a message saying "You have reached a non-working number! huh worked 20 seconds ago!
Kristin 2014-03-29 02:20:22 Unknown
They've been calling me 4, 5 times a day and never leave a message. My phone says it's "call center VA". They're calling my house and cell - this needs to stop.

I didn't recognize the number, so I came here, but for me it makes sense, as I actually do have a relationship with Active Health (and Aetna), calling me to remind me of an phone appointment for tomorrow. I'll have to add that to my contacts so I know for next time. I'm surprised they didn't leave me a message.
Why they would be calling other people who don't subscribe to them, though, I don't know. That's poor.

Received a call and email from this guyHe said he was a recruiter hired for National Grid calling b/c he saw my resume. He asked for my date of birth but not my social security #. After reading these comments < I am now worrid that this was a scam. I am going to try to contact National Grid today and see if it was legit. Feeling like an idiot right now.

They left a voice mail - it was a staffing company with a job opportunity. Something about Landsoft ? He said he was a recruiter, but had a super thick accent so I couldn't understand him very well.

I called it back and an Indian speaking person answered, couldn't understand him at all so I ended up hanging up. But the company name was "something" Financial . Annoying to call me at work.... it's NOT a debt collector because I have no issues there. Simply just SPAM.

Loan to Learn. They're calling because you didn't make a payment on your student loan.

I got an email with this number claiming that my direct deposit was returned due to having outdated software. I am smelling a scam here...

Stop calling. Send me a letter and proof of your existence please. I don't take soliciting phone calls and certainly don't believe anyone calling on the phone wanting personal information considering all of the selfish scams going on these days. FYI I do not have AETNA!

Answered on 3rd ring, but caller hung up abruptly. Looked up this name and found the following:
Active Health Management: Aetna, Inc.
In May of 2005, ActiveHealth was acquired by Aetna, Inc. ActiveHealth operates as a branded, standalone business. We continue to expand our business across all segments including health plans and self-insured employers. In 1998, Lonny Reisman, MD, a cardiologist and a consultant to clients seeking to address rising healthcare costs and improve medical outcomes, founded ActiveHealth Management. Dr. Reisman's vision was to take clinical information from available administrative data, aggregate that data for each member, and apply rules drawn from the medical literature to identify members whose care could be improved. Today, we actively cover millions of members nationwide in a range of health management and data analytics products and services – all to reduce medical errors and medical costs.

Probably a collection agency or someone doing a survey...

just got called by this # on my cell phone
didn't answer - didn't leave a message

Called the number back. Very confused customer service person answered. Apparently, it is a healthcare case management company working for insurance companies trying to convince laypeople into telling their physicians to prescribe less expensive medications for them (thereby saving the insurance company money).

This number called and the individual stated that they wanted to make love to a walrus. Odd.

Received two incoming calls from this number this morning. No message left with either call.

This number has called me three times today. No messages
CWP 2011-06-06 20:54:55 Unknown
They called me this morning and did not leave a message. A bit later they called yet again...so I called back. They wanted to enroll me in a "free" program paid for by my insurance company, and I told them to send the information out, but I would not enroll at this time. Two hours later, they called again, trying to enroll me! Ugh!
They won't take my number off their list either...

I want to know why the f*** are you calling people in Canada! The number is from Herndon Virginia so why would you have any business calling people north of your border. We are not American so stop calling. We don't give a f*** about the rising healthcare costs in America. Why? Because that doesn't affect me. Why? Because Canada is a whole different country! Lastly our healthcare system is not f***ed up like yours! Many services you pay for in the U.S. are free in Canada!
STOP HARRASSING ME 2011-06-06 20:54:55 Unknown
ATTENTION: Active Health M
You're "harassing" a lot of people. If we want something, we'll call you. So stop using up my minutes on my cell phone. You're out to make money. That's the bottom line. Don't gives us this positive statement about what you do. We don't want to know, otherwise we would have called you.
So anyone out there want to send them a message? Report them to your local State Attorney Generals Office. We want "Active Health Management: Aetna, Inc." to get "unsolicited calls" from the Attorney General.
LB 2011-06-06 20:54:55 Unknown
As noted above - ActiveHealth Management. I've added to my block list as not interested in whatever they are selling.

They called and didn't leave a message. I called them back & they tried to 'sell me a service' of a private nurse - which I found an insult since I have well maintained asthma which has never been a problem. I asked them to take me off their call list; and they called me 2 more times the same day. The 3rd time they left a message which sounded urgent. I called them back - they didn't have the request to take me off their list. Very annoying.

CALLS FROM 703-889-4961 OCCUR 10 TIMES A DAY. THIS MUST STOP BEFORE FURTHER ACTION IS TAKEN!
sometimes skeptical 2009-10-10 22:48:35 Unknown
Don't forget that Active Health, like most companies, probably keeps track of what is being said about them and their product. Companies can, and do, solicit people to post comments in public forums, favorable to the company or unfavorable to their competition. I've actually seen some of the solicitations that companies make, offering a few dollars for each verified posting, along with suggested wording.
I'm not saying the favorable comments here are planted, I'm just saying don't take all posts at face value, whether they are positive or negative.
