I too received a call from Suburban from 800-899-1262.  The caller was alledgedly Lisa Gomez.  The company owner is Marlene Bingaman.  They left a voicemail with private information and I don't plan on calling back.  They really shouldn't buy bad debt.  If I didn't pay my unsecured credit card what makes them think I'd pay a collection agency? hahahaha dopes. Sue all you want, it's just a hollow judgement! vaya con dios bendahos!

Suburban Credit Corp is not exclusive to Fairfax.  I live in Florida and 3 weeks ago they tried to collect $458 from me that was payed by my medical insurance 3 months ago.  It was for a Florida ER visit from Dec 2011.  I had my insurance company contact them and the hospital to make sure that it was paid and send me their paperwork for varification.  Now Suburban Credit Corp is calling from a different number, (703) 921-2258, but only letting it ring once and not leaving a voice mail message.

I keep getting a call from another number of Suburban Credit Corp too. It's 703-921-2258. And I don't know who they are calling about. Does anyone know how to get some police authority involved to stop these calls?

They called about an alleged debt.  I asked when the alleged debt was originally incurred.  They did not have that information.  I said if that is the case, then you are unable to collect.  I then stated (note, this was after the conversation) that I had recorded the conversation and if they call even one more time regarding the alleged debt, I will use any and all legal means to take as much money from them (which, by law, is at a minimum, the amount of the alleged debt).  I also stated to them that in Virginia, only one party on a call needs to know of the recording of a call, and since I knew of it, then, I can record without their knowledge.  I will see if they call back.

got a call from this number a guy told me I owed a 285.00 for a physicians bill at the Emergency Room. I told him I could make payements and wasn't sure what this bill is for he got aggressive even called my work and threatened calling my work again, I got a call from my boss. Very rude aggressive, I'm calling the cops if he calls again...his name is David

I just received a call twice from a guy at that number... Once through my work number then directly on my cell. Not sure if the receptionist gave him my number (I'm a realtor) but he made it seems important in the voicemail. Screw him even it was a  collection!!! : D

A guy called today saying he was from a collection agency.  He said i owe 400 and some odd dollars for and ER visit.  He told me I could do a check by phone today or make payments.  Sound like a scam to me.

This number called my home twice and hung up. Those of you who posted here. Can you please tell me what ever became of this? When I call the number back it hangs up and doesn't ring.

They too have called us harassing us about a debt that was the Hospital's mistake, and cursing and threatening to take my husband to court about the situation. Ask for their name and their ID number so they can be identified.

i just got a cll from 703-921-2260, and the person said ask for Donna White. I asked what was it about. She said it was personal.

I got a call from these people in April.

They said I owed $75.00 for a hospital bill. They had the information of when I went to the hospital and everything, so I figured it was legit and I knew I had trouble with this bill because it was supposed to be under workman's comp and I was having trouble with getting my work to pay for it.

I was settling on a house at the end of that month and so I panicked and paid it because I knew something like that (this was in 2010 and they said it was for a bill in October of 2008) could stop us from getting a loan.

Well, I get a call from the hospital and never received a payment of any sort in April-November for my account. I did it by check so I have a copy of the check they used. Hopefully I can get my money back...but definitely looks like a scam. I don't think it takes almost a year for a payment to post.

Don't pay through them! Go to your hospital and work out payment arrangments with them.

I recieved a phone call from this company as well. They sent me a written bill for $610 from an ER visit about 2 years ago. They knew which hospital and when it was so I paid the bill over the phone. Does any one have further proof that this was a scam! I had no idea!

This is a scam...they are telling me I owe money and it is affecting my credit, but I just bought a home and qualified for two mortgages...they are rude and are just trying to get your CC info.

Unfortunately it isn't true.  They are not exclusive to Fairfax hospital.  I live in PA and went to a Williamsport hospital and PAID the bill, and they're still bothering me.  I'm going to try to ask for a bill from them and see if I can get this all sorted out.

This company is obviously not a legitimate one. If it?s a legitimate Collection agency, they will at least have a decent website. They called me several times about supposedly 3 years old Hospital bill that I don?t recognize! Like many of you, I tried to call their numbers back, but the call goes DEAD!

Call the main number 703-924-3000 to speak to a management and tell them the person's name. They said that the person who calls has management sitting next to them. But that's a lie MAKE SURE YOU GET A NAME!!!! Suburban Credit Corp.

I got a call from this number this morning asking for someone else and when I asked who they were he called himseld "Dave Harris." When he wouldn't tell me what his business was I just hung up...

I just received a call from a man with what seemed like Indian accent.  He had my name and asked me if I was she.  The second I said yes, he hung up on me.  What was that about?

and remember everyone when they call you the names they are giving you are false to begin with which is also misleading and also misrepensuntation!!! This number calls here for people we dont even know and im sick of it! Further more let them know u are not oaying them you will pay the people the money is owed to because these companies dont give the entire amount to the company it is owed to they are taking money to call and be a pain in the you know what! so get all the info and dont pay them pay the actual copany so the colletion agency doesnt make the money!

Got a call, it's a debt collector.  Someone who had this number before me was apparently in a lot of debt, I get these calls all the time asking for other people,

got a call from this number and a woman ask to speak to my father, who has been dead for 3yrs. Next thing I know there was a silence on the phone. When I tried calling back all I got was a click.  She did not acknowledge if she was a bill collector. I think it's a scam trying to get money, ugh.

it must be a slow day, because they have called me 18 times in the past two hours. NO JOKE. I never answer "unknown" numbers, so finally on the 5th time, I got concerned, and answered... the first time was for a Jerry something or other, said they had the wrong number. The guy yelled at me, said he knew that this person was at this number and I should just go ahead and put them on the phone. I explained that it was a personal cell phone, and I have had the same number for the past ten years, so this was not possible and asked him to not call back. He called another ten times. I then answered again, and they asked for Debbie. I said again, they had the wrong number. He asked for my name, and I said that if he didn't know who he was calling, then it was not my fault. He then called another 3 times.. all with no voice messages.

I personally think its a scam. Please.. do not give them ANY contact information or credit card info over the phone. By law, they HAVE to send you a bill in writing.. doesn't matter how many times they have done it in the past. They can not do anything worse to your credit.
