I received the same message that others in Indiana did. I called the Indiana Attorney General to make aware about the information. It appears that it is happening to individuals in Indiana. Not sure if this will help but maybe put in a call at 317-232-6243 or toll free 888-834-9969. The more people who complain maybe there will be action. The number above is for the telephone privacy division

I got the same text message and don't have an account with them so I went to the local branch in Lafayette, IN and they said not to reply - they were aware of the problem and had contacted authorities.

my husband just rec. the same message. we are from indianapolis as well. we called the number and got the same message. he is taken the message to the back to make sure nothing is going on. any other suggestions?

I just got this message and last week I had one from another number. I am also from  Indiana.

I just got this text message about 5 minutes ago.  I am glad that I googled it to find out that I am not the only one.

This is DEFINATELY a phishing scam. It was a woman's voice on a recording asking you to leave your credit card number on the message. I called Salin Bank myself and they advised the number has been shut down.

Your Salin B-a-n-k service was suspended for suspicious activity , call us at 703-953-1916.

Does anyone have an idea what this is about.  I do not bank with Salin, so it is very concerning.

I just got the same text msg just moments ago - Indianapolis.  I don't have a Salin account and got concerned so I called the number...........SCAM!!!!

same here. am in NJ, but have a 765 number (Boilermaker ;)) Very obviously a scam. Thinking of how we can get back at them.

I received a text message from this number, and I do not have a bank account with this company, so I can assure you this is fraudulent.  The exact message reads, "Your Salin B-a-n-k services was suspended for suspicious activity,call us at 703-953-1916" and is from sec@webonline.com

Received a text telling my Salin bank account was suspended. I have an Indianapolis Sprint phone number. Last week received a similiar text telling me my FCFCU acct was suspended. I don't have an account with either establishment.

Just called the number and there is a recorded message from the Federal Trade Commission. The number is disconnected and the FTA has a recorded message about Phishing. Apparently the authorities are aware of the scam.

My wife received this a few hours ago. In Indianapolis. Sprint Phone #. Disregard it. Appears to be a spam scam.

I got one today also.Isnt there anyway we can get numbers like  these blocked from our text messages?

Just got the same message as everyone else. Live in Indy, Sprint cell phone. Didn't respond, figured it was sometype of phishing....

I got the same thing. I'm in Indianapolis There was a report on 6 news about this scam.

SCAM!  I get so tired of people who don't look for a REAL job to earn money like we all have to do to survive - instead of trying to SCAM people out of their hard earned money!  We're not idiots in Indiana!!!

Got the same thing about an hour ago.  I live near Anderson Indiana alsol Do not call that number people  I  used to get those types of text message alot could never figure them out and I never used to look at my cell bill.  Untill one day I did, and I was having recurring billings for about $50.00 a month from some place overseas 5 different companies were saying I signed up by calling those numbers back,  and my cell carrier would not take them off my bill, but help set something up to block them.   Until today, its the first time in about 6 months that I got a text like this.

I just received this same text message on my cell phone.  We have never banked at Salin.  Isn't this what is called phishing?  I think they're hoping for someone with an account at Salin to call them back, and then they'll wheedle more info out of them about their account so they can have access to it.

Got the same message on my cell here with an Indianapolis prefix.  Maybe it's time to drill down some more. We can all see that most of these posts are Indiana-centric, but what service provider?  I have t-mobile.
