Called once last night and just now (10:15AM 08-06-2007).  I just filed a complaint at donotcall.gov

Caller ID said "Virginia."  No message.

This number has been calling.  I don't answer the phone.  Caller ID. says G2007.  By the way, I'm from Beaufort, North Carolina.

This caller called and conducted a survey for the Republican Party, and asked a few of their "talking points" questions.

Received a call from them on 08/07/07 at 4:05pm.  I didn't answer.  The caller ID reads Telemarketing Survey.  I live in Centreville, VA.

We've received 2 calls daily from 703-961-1049 for several days now. There's never any messages.

I've received numerous calls from this number. Have no clue on to who it is.

This number has been calling me for a long time, they most of the time hang up or no one is there when I pick-up..Tonite I answered and it was an automated question about the dangers of natural gas, and what do do in case of a gas leak.  It was for the city I live in.

I've gotten several calls from this number on my cell phone.... no messages left and they seem to hang up early before I can get to the phone. BTW... I'm in Alabama...

I am in NC. Got another call from S 2007 on Thursday Aug. 10.  No message, etc.....Don't know if it is political - I am in coastal NC - somewhat rural area.....

I have an Ames cell too, they left a messege about some candidate (Ron someone) and wanted me to attend the straw polls and support him. Yesterday they called three times, not messege, but this is ridiculous!

Received at 5:40 pm....Tried to call back and just a busy signal...It was a call to my cell.

This is an automated poll for the Mitt Romney campaign. Since I live in Iowa and the straw poll is this weekend, it asked if I voted, if I were going to participate in the straw poll, and if I was a male over 50. Hope this helps.

Wow, S 2007 has scoped out a broad range. I wasn't home but got a call from 703-961-1049, caller ID name S 2007, at 6:15pm Virginia time. Another resource shows it's a land based Verizon line in Centreville, VA

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a "political" call as S 2007 mirrors the format used to mark senate bills for each year (i.e., S 2007 would be the 2007th bill introduced in the senate this year). You probably already knew that. Number could belong to a staffer living in Centreville who works for a sponsor of that bill. Then again, it could be a PAC who thought that would be cute 'cause it is 2007.
Maybe this info will be useful to someone.
