Scammer wanting your Medicare number

Received two robo calls.  First one they did not respond.  A few minutes later another call, recorded message that it was an important Medicare announcement for seniors with diabetes problems.  Said press a number (forget what) if you do not have diabetes, press (another number) or stay on the line if you want to be removed from this call list.  I stayed on the line, a man with foreign accent came on the line, I told him to remove my number immediately.  He said first he needed to know if I was not a senior with diabetes.  I told him he didn't need to know anything about me except I want to be removed.  He said something in a rude and annoyed manner then disconnected the phone.

I also get calls from this number - do not respond to my answering machine as they do not leave a message.  So Annoying  WHY DID I EVEN REGISTER WITH THE  GOV'T  "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY" IF these "companies????" are going to keep calling

Same recorded spiel about seeking those having diabetes and being on Medicare or Medicaid.  I punched 2 to say I wasn't then hung up

I got a call from this number. They leave no message and I want to know who it is.

They called but did not respong to my answering the phone, so I called back.  Seems they want to put you in touch with a health provider to get you diabetic supplies or back brace paid for by your medicarel. They asked for my birth date which I wouldn't give and said they could find a local provider for me but then hung up after asking for my birth date a couple more times.

Even when the phone is answered there is no one there yet the caller id says...Private Name...this is so annoying.ude and wastes my time.  Wy can't we find out who this is?  What is the point of reporting it when we can't find out who is calling?

These robotic messages should be stopped by congress.  How do we make that happen?
