Computer generated call--caller ID showed the number and V50221514300292.  Left no message.

"National Do Not Call List" is a joke, just another way the government makes money by selling the list to legitimate companies. The scammers, spammers pfishers spoofers whatever they call themselves do not use the list and there's no way to stop it. Trying to stop this is like trying to get rid of an old girlfriend. Won't go away!

How many of us pay for caller id that these people can spoof. Caller ID only works with legitimate companies.  Could go on and on........................

I am so sick of these obnoxious, SCAM calls! I've been on the DNC for YEARS, and the number of scam calls is getting WORSE, not better!

This number called me today, along with another number saying, "Research Center" and THAT one violated my state's regulations regarding just WHEN solicitation and telemarketing calls are allowed. In my state, these calls are only allowed between the hours of 8am and 8pm, and the call came through at 8:16pm, thereby verifying to me the fakeness of whatever these people are trying to do, as the number(s) is/are obviously spoofed, and therefore originating from OUTSIDE the United States!

Annoyed they keep calling and hanging up. Call them back and you get music or a male voice.

Called, I did not pick up, waited for a message, no message left-they hung up before the machine picked up-calls a few times weekly.

Caller said it was the American Veterans Support Foundation, wanted donation. Verified name twice.
Could not find listing with this exact name. I believe it may be a scam. (A couple of names that were close, reportedly only gave a very small percentage of donations to actual charity.)

Got a call from this number today. It was a telemarketer for some American Veterans group wanting money to feed veterans.

Caller called during dinner. When I said hello there was no response.

I picked up the phone after 4 rings and they hung up.

Received call from this number on 4/21. Caller ID said "McLean VA". I did not answer and caller hung up before getting my answering machine.

These calls are robo-generated and may actually be systems that are just hunting down real phone numbers - so no need to transfer to a person.  Also, since many of these are not legit businesses, they don't care about the the DNC list.  And since many use a spoofed number system (where the number on your caller ID isn't even a real phone number and, if you called back would give you a 'disconnected' message), there's no way to stop them.  Very sad the energy people spend planning scams and rip-offs.
