They call several times a week one Saturday I answered in hopes of telling them that I was on the national do not call list and to be sure and remove me from thiers. the first time I answered the identified themselves as a local paper I told them I was not interested and hung up but I checked the name of the paper online and it was not listed in the valley. the second time about an hour later they said they were selling life insurance. Finally the third time they called and I was pretty angry by then but when they tried to tell me the were my electric provider and got the name wrong I flashed back to my navy days and let fly a blue streak somewher in there I told them not to call back but we are back to 2-3 times a week. DON'T ANSWER IF YOU DO DON'T GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO!

Received call about 10 minutes ago.  When I answered a prereorded messages about refinancing a mprtgage. Person would not state where they were calling from...I hung up!

Apparently a computer generated calling servicce....when I answer, no one is on the line and the line is automatially disconnected. Waste of my time!

After she learned that I was uninterested in home refinance, she refused to repeat the name of the company, location, etc. and hung up on me.

Called my cell phone on 7/14.  Prerecorded message said Are you in Foreclosure - Relief Stragegies Group can help refinance your home.

Pre recorded message on voicemail offering to list my business on google. Didn't catch the company, if mentioned,and left toll free callback #. One more # to program not to ring.

Called and I didn't answer in time.. when I called back got a recording saying to remove from list by pressing 1.  No other options or buttons to press to speak to anyone so can't get company name and number. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to leave messages selling things.  Pretty shady and rude also. I wish I could talk to this company or report them to someone! Does any1 know how we can?

When I answered my cell phone just got a hang up. However! I am listed on all do not call lists.... landline and cell phone, so how can these people get away with this?

This is a boiler room operation run by of person named William Potter Gheen III with an organization called ALIPAC trolling for donations and selling scams to elderly persons.

WRONG! I have never been delinquent on any of my bills.  And I would guess the same is true for many of those who have posted.  Frankly, I am offended by your post. This is a recorded telemarketing call, which legislation will ban (hopefully) starting September 1, 2009.

Received a call from this number on August 26, 2009 at 5:13 PM.  Did not answer it and the caller left no message.  I looked up at "Reverse 411" and the call appears to originate as a landline from Monroe, NC.  Just trying to find more information.

Just got a call from this number as well. I don't pick up unknown numbers. Sorta like how I don't open the door to just anyone that knocks. ie: solicitors

It is likely that you are delinquent on some credit cards or on your mortgage. It may be that this caller is not a collector, but I heard there are people who call #s for creditors to simply check that they have a valid phone # and then they update their lists.

Received a call from that number on 08/20/09 at 2:52 PM.  Didn't recognize the #, and didn't answer the call.  The caller left no message.

704-220-0638 has appeared on my cell phone about 4 times in the last few days.  I never answered and no msg. was left.  Out of curiousity, I picked up today and heard brief recording about mortgage bailout money.  Knowing it was a scam, but curious and amused, I pushed the proper key for a live person and got an illiterate African American sounding CHILD who could not even articulate properly.  I asked for him to repeat the name of the company that had called me so I could understand the "name" and he hung up.  I called back and was greeted w/ the same recording that everyone else on this string has heard, "pls. enter your phone number to be removed from our list."  My question is...even though it's annoying enough that these companies are getting ahold of our cell phone #'s and we are all listed on "do not disturb" lists...my question still is, "what are they accomplishing if they are hanging up when some of us DO pick up?"
