Claimed to be the Policy Holder for my Honda.  I asked several questions, they transferred me to a manager.  I asked who they were and what they did and they hung up on me.  I called the number that showed up and no one answered.  Must be a scam.

Telemarketing call from "vehicle processing unit"...wanting to replace my expired auto warranty...(which hasn't expired).

I asked the woman if they'd found my car.  She said what?  I said, since you're calling from the vehicle processing unit, I figured you'd found the car...which was stolen on New Years eve while I was at the local w***e house...(NO, not really).  I then asked her if my kid was still in the car...my wife was really pissed at me for losing the car AND the kid.  I said I'd be happy to just get the car back cause I'd just put news tires on it...

Went on for another few minutes with her...hung up and put their number in my contacts as SPAM so I'll know it's spam next time they ring me...or, maybe I'll answer it. ;=()

They are trying to sell auto warranties and claim that they are the GM preferred and the only preferred.  Called my local GM dealership and they said no way.  It is one of those "you must decide now" calls, Been there, done than and suffered.

I called them back and got someone else that said that they were Precise Auto Protection in Pasadena.  When I mention the deal that my dealership offered, they lowered the cost from $3215 to $2533 because I had a previous saturn and my husband was a marine.  When I would not accept that they were going to try again, but I figured I took up enough of their time and told them to remove me.

And since when does a Pasadena Company have an Indian Trail, NC phone number!!  They had no reply when I told them that my dealership had never heard of them and it took several minutes to get the company name.  Smells like a scam to me!

When I finally got the company to pick up the phone, it was answered vehicle processing dept. The person hung up on me when they were not given who I was. Either a telemarketer or collection for car loans.
