Great response--we've received dozens of these calls in the past month--each one with a different area code.  The recorded female voice doing the "pitch" sounds very unprofessional.  They've even left messages saying to press "1" now--how does that make sense?  Thanks for alerting others.

Tried to access the web site, but got the notice it was not available due to the government shutdown.  The usual approach from government agencies "how can we cause the most disruption to the most people".
My call was from 708 929 9263 with the top line showing V00410464300008. What does the V number mean?

I just received same call.  I was going to do the same thing...I pressed one and waited, and waited.  Finally hung up.  I love what you did.  Bravo.

Received call from 7042663720 10/02 said if you are over 60 years of age may be eligible for a $3000 food certificate call came from Belmont NC. I lost the call and when tried to call back I l hear welcome to Verizon your call can not be completed as dialed.

I get it a few times a week.  Telemarketer - no answer when I call back

they keep calling to try and get us to get some free thing for the elderly or something. my husband has told them numerous times to stop calling here. but they keep calling over and over and over.

Robocall.  Answered and it went to prerecorded blurb for a senior citizen offer.

Just received the same call but from # 1-425-873-2849. Nothing is free and if the call is true, it would mean my husband and I become part of the problem we protest against!

I have a question for those more in the know than I am. Is there some way to track exactly who is making these calls? I am on the do not call list, I have filed bunches of FCC complaints, but all anyone can tell me is do not respond to these calls. I am not going to be scammed by these people, but I am infuriated that they keep calling me day and night. The only weapon I have is to try to keep them on the line as long as possible while giving them no real information, but that does not hurt them in a meaningful way. Surely someone can come up with a technical solution to this problem. The only way that they can continue these scams is by remaining anonymous. If we knew their physical location and maybe the names and addresses of those in charge, We could absolutely stop this annoying and criminal behavior.

Multiple calls from this # with no response.  We are on "Do Not Call" list, but these jokers continue to call.  Waste of my time running to answer this BS.

They are crooks. I just looked it up on internet. Do not give them any info at all. I tried to answer and all I heard was music. I have another one that is a credit card scam that calls me all the time and when you ask then any questions about who they are they hang up. I don't know why the government doesn't do something about this.

They call here at least twice a week and say nothing, can't call the number back.

Received call from 704 266 3720 9/14/2014 @ 9:45am. No ring when tried to call back

I need these people to stop calling my number. I think the next time I get one of these calls they may get a whistle to the ear. This is harassment. They don't say anything, they are just waiting for me to pick up the phone. They can wait til hell freezes over.

got the same message as described saying all over 60 qualify for the free $3,000 for groceries and a medic alert bracelet left on my answering machine today from this number. asked to press 1- even on a machine.. I did nothing! I am on DO NOT CALL

This number calls frequently. I pick up and the robo message starts:

Senior Citizens...

and then I hang up.

Answer like your old, then kindly ask them for their credit card number.  It blows their mind.

Just got the same message. I didin't press 1, but this is the second time I got called. No one gives seniors $3000. My phone no. was from 267-518-3198, It said from Willow Grove, Pa. Scam, Scam, Scam

I don't answer - they call once per week anyway. I have started to title the phone numbers that call repeatedly - as grubbers, annoyers, and so on. I suppose I'll keep doing that to make myself laugh.  I don't answer any of them.

My phone service (Windstream) has an option of  * 60 which blocks their number from ringing your number again....love it...when they call you just let them be the last number that has called you ...you just dial * 60 and follow the directions on how to turn it on ,off and deleat their numbers from the list...I have 6 numbers on that list now...lol

Called at 8 pm sunday eve, no one on the line. Cant seem to call them back either
