I got a missed call from this number.  I called it back it goes immediately to a recording asking for your name.  Strange.

Daily calls around 11:30a to 12:00noon.  Only two rings and as I'm searching for the number they hang up.  

If you call the number back you get a recording saying something like
I'm sorry they're not available but I'll be sure to let them know you called.  Please leave a message for {pause} after the tone.

We hate AT&T and there dirty little tricks to con people.  What a dirty shame!!!

This number keeps calling our office and hanging up, when we do call the number back it gives a message as well.  What is this???

Calls twice a day, mostly "no voice" automated calls, if the Office manager says hello enough time a called comes on saying this is AT&T going to give us a better rate.  We deal direct with AT&T and do not want anyone else in the loop.  I thing this is slamming.  The daily calls border on harrasment!

Here's what I got so far.  Google the phone number and you get that its with XSPEDIUS Communications in NC.  But then you try to get ahold of them and its f***in' impossible.  So I called Time Warner who supposedly bought them out and and they said Global Crossing has control of that number...by the way, 800-466-4600 is Global crossings number.  THen Global Crossing says "Nope, not us... Try their service provider 408-727-1885.  808 is the name of the company, who I then called and they said no either.   I will find these guys, and when I do... I will gladly give you their alternate number and we can all annoyingly call them :)

Yes, I would love to find them and tell them to quit calling me!

Caller stated I could save $ on my ATT monthly service, for the same service,  just by answering a few questions; I asked her why they had not already changed my service the caller hung up on me.  She appeared to be representing ATT!

I too have received MULTIPLE calls from this number, numerous times throughout the day. This has been going on for over a month now. Using the information provided above in Matthew Barnes' message, I called Birch Communications and left a nice message for them:

The 1st time they called, it was a telecommunication sales call. The next 5 times were just hang-ups.

Nice to know this is Birch - I actually got the lovely opportunity to speak with them on two occasions.  I finally asked both of them "which part of NO do you not understand"?  one hung up and one told me to educate myself and then hung up.  I called them back (actually did get through) and spoke to a manager type (so they said) and told them to take my number off the list.  apparently did not work as got another call today....

Here's what's going on:

The company, reported as Interactive Sol and 704-401-1407 on caller id, dials your phone. If I pick up, they apparently log that someone live is picking up the phone. Then, a few hours later, telemarketers start calling. If I don't pick up, I don't get the rash of telemarketing calls.

So when this number calls, DO NOT PICK UP!

Our company receives a phone call from this number 2 or 3 times per day.  We answer, no one at other end, line goes dead after 15 seconds. I've called it back, recording asks to leave a message but mailbox is full.  I've called AT&T and asked them about it, they act stupid about the issue and just try to up-sell you call blocking on your account.  I've filed complaint with FCC - it's the 3rd complaint I've made this month about 3 separate telemarketers. WTF is the point of the DNC list!

Calls at least twice a day and it is always dead air. Waste of our time to stop our work and answer.

These bozos seem to be blowing all of Att's money.I will call the busines office and tell them I can longer have phone service due too to many unwanted phone calls and then Ill give them the number Lets see what happens

We too get calls from this number. Not very nice sales people. I have asked them to not call me again but they do. Today I was hung up on. No response.

We get calls from these guys on a daily basis.  I started just hanging up without even listening and they keep calling back until we pick up. When we do pick up no one responds and they hang up.

We recieve a call from this number about 10 time a day.  It is dead air. no on there.  It is listed to Interactive Solutions.  Please someone stop these people.

Keep getting 2 calls per day. They hang up before I can even have a chance to swear at them for making me jump to catch the call and then be hung up on. GRRRRR!!!

Just got a call from this number. Person argued with me when I stated we have an AT&T rep that we go thru. He said "the owners make the decisions, not the AT&T rep". I said, "Really? I didn't know that" and hung up!!!

WE TOO ARE GETTING HANG UPS FROM THIS # EVERY DAY... HAVE TRIED CALLING IT BACK & A VOICE MAILBOX PICKS UP, BUT YOU CAN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE. VERY ANNOYING & WASTING OUR TIME!!!!
