I get calls from this number at least four to five times a week. I'm tired of it as they wake me up since I work at home at night.

IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ!!! I work for a surgeon and i do the billing. I know what the doctor gets and it is not a 1/4 of what the hospital gets. Make sure to get a detailed list of what procedure codes are billed and check them with your insurance. We have had several patients that have been billed for things they didn't get at the hospital or it was billed incorrectly. This could save you some money if you take time to do it. One girl was billed for an injection for peyronies disease which is a curvature of the p***s. One man was billed for a $40,000 device that was not performed. He had only had an out patient procedure. Someone else had gotten these calls and thought that they had paid already but paid it anyway and then his wife paid the hospital the same amount and neither the company nor the hospital will give them their money back. Also, make sure the insurance is in network or they will use that as an excuse to bill you and bill for codes that they didn' t perform but maybe the doctor or radiologist did. In a case like this you are better off to pay the hospital or where ever the collection is coming from and not the collection company. They will have to call the collection agency and have your account removed and they are the ones that sold it to them in the first place.

Some of us are paying the hospital bill  monthly to the hospital and we are getting harassed by a collection agency.  Go pick on the people who are not paying and leave me the hell alone.

I just got a new cell phone and number about two weeks ago.  I have been getting calls from this number at least twice a day.  It was actually the very first number to call me.  They are obviously trying to reach whoever had this number before me but I cant reach any one to tell them to stop calling me.  

I've been hearing from PMAB, LLC, for almost four years but have never had any reason to respond.

They have never provided any evidence, whatsoever, that their calls are NOT a scam!

This number is a debt collection agency - MICHAEL H. COFFEY, PMAB LLC TWO LAKE POINT PLAZA 4135 SOUTH STREAM BLVD SUITE 400 CHARLOTTE NC 28217 Phone: 704-553-7146.  This company made repeated calls attempting to collect an alleged debt owed to Georgia Emergency Associates.  The debt was not valid as Georgia Emergency Associates did not properly bill the insurance carriers.  Both Georgia Emergency Associates and PMAB were notified, in writing, that the debt was not valid.  PMAB was also notified verbally in two separate telephone calls the debt was not valid.  The calls persisted.  It is suggested that anyone who receives calls from this number review http://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/rules/rulemaki ... ctices-act-text and file a complaint with the FTC if you are a victim of violations by this company.

I NEVER RECEIVED  A CALL FROM PMAB BUT WHEN I CHECK MY CREDIT ONLINE AND IT SHOWS THEM BUT I DONT REMEMBER ANYTHING THAT HAD THAT AMOUNT DUE

AS I KNOW HOSPITALS OR OTHER MEDICIAL PLACES CANT SELL UR INFO AND IF THEY DO THEY VOID THE  TERMS AND IT BECOMES NULL IN VOID AT THAT MOMENT BECAUSE OF THE PATIENT/DOCTOR CONFIDENTIALITY TERMS AS I SEEN MY ENTIRE FAMILY BE DONE THAT WAY AND THIS FALLS INTO PLACE

I applied for assistance with my outstanding medical cost with our hospital.Not that I have been in the hospital but that I am always having blood work done due to thyroid,Diabetes,-22 years now, &   blood Pressure. BCBS doesnt pay that well for our policy.I have 15% left to pay which is outstanding.But I do work 40 hours a week. But between buying my medicine and strips its outrages.. And due to being diabetic I cant go without 3 meals a day ,I do eat vey little but the grocery stores dont sell in  little pkgs.And no im not a big lady..125lbs for the last 22 years.And no i will not apply for financial assitance .My dad always taught us to work and even if you cant pay but a little.. You pay even if its a little,,Well thay were getting $20.00 a month now that they are pesting the hell out of me..$1.00 a month .they never refused my ck nor returned it so guess what they are stuck with accepting it..so let them call on

I believe in paying doctors.  The only problem is,  What do I Do?  My back breaks in three places, due to cancer weakening the bones. I have chemo treatments for close to a year,  and  I'm suddenly  out of work because I'm not able to work at this point. I never saw cancer coming.  I was in stage 4 before I had any symptoms. I do have health insurance which pays a part of what I owe to the many medical doctors, offices and hospitals that I was sent to.  
I have started back working now,  and I spread out my check and send every dime I make to my doctor bills. I have so many that my payments are not large amounts.  My wife pays all other household bills.  We eat at home and we have gave up any outside activities to  to pinch every penny we have.  You call me everyday.   I cant give you what I do not have.  Our family eats very little to pay you.  We are grateful for your service and for the Lords healing hands.  We sacrifice for you every day to see you get the money we owe.  Its not a payment in full but it is a payment.  What is your answer to me on how to satisfy you and what I owe you.

YES BI***, I work and have insurance, the hospital sent all of my bills to collections they never billed my insurance company. Keep getting calls from this number and when you pick and say hello, they hang up.

This # number comes up on my phone with no title. No title not answering it.

 I have been getting these calls for sometime. Now they have started calling and bothering my wife and she has nothing to do with my account. This has to do with me taking my grandkids to the ER. They have Medicaid and at the time we were applying for them. The Medicaid said they would repay up to three months back. Someone is not doing their job. I am going to send a letter to this company letting them know t stop bothering me and my wife. I will then deal with our local hospital and our Medicaid office to get this taken care of. If it comes down that I have to pay, then I will set up a payment plan and pay them. Does anyone know what type of letter I can write to have these folks stop harassing me? The DNC only deals with telemarketers.  That is not to say you do not have legal recourse..   Get a mailing address - one that is verifiable (you can google it) and send them a cease and desist letter, you can get a free template online for this, via certified US mail. Keep a copy for yourself also. Keep any messages on your answering machine, makes notes and keep a notepad, record any conversations also according to the laws of your state (you can google that also, some states require you to tell them upfront they are being recorded)  Follow the steps here:

They keep calling my home and ask for an unknown name or it's a message saying it's an important business matter. Neither I or my family have any outstanding debts!!!!!!!, so therefore, any advice to make these harassing , disturbing, phone calls to STOP?? Would be sincerely appreciated!!!! Well maybe you should think about divorced parents. I carry the insurance while my fat-a** lazy ex-wife doesn't even work while she uses my $1,500 a month in child support as her only income. You probably got that fat a** sit on your a** all day syndrome also. The system is so f****d...that hard working fathers get the shaft. My fat-a** and lazy ex-wife runs out of doctors that she owes money too for her half of un-covered expenses. So, she ends up going to out of network doctors. Since I carry the insurance, I get stuck with the bills that I didn't authorize. And most of the time I don't even know about the charges till I check my credit report. Your a bi*** and you should think about other situations before you go off with that "I work at a Dr's office, take some NyQuil next time you get sick, syndrome." There's a reason why the healthcare system needs an overhaul. That field is full of overpaid a***oles that drive cars that cost more than average houses. It's the reason why health care costs are so high. Your overpaid!
