Yes the house is still available for rent and we are looking for a responsible person/family to occupy and maintain the house now that we are not around. Please one more thing, I wouldn?t like to have any benefit of trust in you because I want to stand in your words that the property would be well taken care of all the time. This is a number which was given out to call as someone representing to own property which we own and attempting to rent it

He called himself Billy Wilson when he listed my house.

His email is houselovely170@yahoo.com  and he seems to specialize in copying rental listings that have been taken down, then reposting the advert with half the price, and ridiculously lax rental conditions.  He asks people to mail him a deposit check.
It's astonishing to me that people haven't complained to Yahoo and had his mail account banned.

At it again. Same email to the exact words. . Same number (704) 584-9587. And a nice house that was priced way under its value. The same email and everything. Talked to him on the phone today. Wanted me to send him money today. I'm glad I stumbled upon this site. I was almost scammed. We drive by the house in question and ppl were still living there. Outrageous.

I also seen a house posted.on CL but in Clinton Township Michigan. I emailed them asking for pictures of the inside of the house. This is the reply I got.

I as well responded to an ad in the Los Angeles area for a home for rent at the $700 price.  Received a similar email back as the one pasted above stating he lived in Malaysia now and moved there in 2010 after giving up his doctor's practice.  Used the name Robert Durrett.  I googled the address this individual posted in the email and the home had been purchased in 2012, remodeled and now for rent at a much higher price..  I found the real owner's information online and contacted them.  (704)584-9587.  I too will report to the FBI as mentioned above in another post.

I had seen an add on Craigslist for a rental home in Thornton, Colorado for $700 a month so I responded to it though I thought it had to be too good to be true. He said his name was Justin Palmer and even sent me photos of his supposed Family.These people sent me the same email that was posted before and kept asking me to send him a money gram with the deposit that same night when I had only been talking to him for a few hours! I told him i would send him half the deposit by that night and he told me that he wanted me to send it to his attorney in MALAYSIA. I had a feeling it was a scam to begin with which is why I ended up looking the number up here and I'm so glad that I did. He said his name was Justin Palmer and

This is the exact same message I received about a property for rent in Riverside Ca. I'm reporting them...

Oh my goodness!!!!   These people tried to scam me too.  And I gave them personal information!!  They said they were renting a home in Everett, WA and they accepted me as a renter.  But when I did a google search of the property I found a real estate listing stating that it was for sale. I emailed them back and they said it WAS for sale but they took it off the market and told me how to proceed if I wanted the house.  I called the real estate broker and they said they just listed it 2 days ago. This is a scam.  He said his name was Walden Blake and his wife was named Diana.  Their phone number was 704 584-9587 and told me they lived in the Florida Keys.  

Same exact thing happened to me in Redmond wa. Wanted a money gram from Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is not common here, and someone who lived here would know this....

I saw a house for rent on Craiglist as well. I had seen the same house on another site for $500 more so I questioned this when he called. He had an accent and stated that he was on a mission trip in Florida for 4-5 years. He wanted me to send a moneygram for a deposit tonight and I had not even seen the house.

Bedrooms, bath.. And large living room with appliances including in-suite washer and dryer,electric heating,Wall Furnaces.and also that hole story of they are in africa and going to nigeria and that they are: "My Family and I just traveled to Nigeria for a program Empowering Youth to Fight Racism, HIV/AIDS, Poverty and Lack of Education with Calvary Chapel Vineland  on a Missionary Work" this is wrong because there are people that really want to rent a nice house and these people want to steal form them so sad..

This number is a complete scam! I also saw a house for rent but it was in Phoenix, AZ and the name on their email isn't the person who answered the phone. WILL REPORT THEM ALSO!!!!

There was a 2 Million Dollar House, FOR RENT, in Naples, FL on Craigslist.  We know the area and the $700 a month rent was SO UNBELIEVABLE, WE KNEW IT HAD TO BE A SCAM.  I sent an Email, asking questions and I received the same response as you, about them being in West Africe.  Just what I expected, since all these rental scams seem to come out of Nigeria.  They even used the correct owner's name and gave the same phone number as you had been given (704) 584-9587, which is a Charlotte, NC Area Code.  The Winter address for the owner is NOT in NC.  I saw a scam like this before and I was able to make contact with the REAL OWNER and we reported the scam to http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/.  The IC3 is co-sponsored by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C). Complaints filed via this website are processed and may be referred to federal, state, local or international law enforcement or regulatory agencies for possible investigation.  Everyone who comes in contact with these SCAMMERS AND MORONS SHOULD REPORT THEM TO IC3.  BEWARE!!  Remember what they say, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is, so don't give anyone lease deposit money, unless you can do it in person and unless you can get INSIDE THE HOUSE TO SEE IT!

They have a house for rent up on Craigslist, they answered my questions I asked about the house and replied in a very weird way, saying they were in west Africa and wouldn't be home to show the house, that it was available for 5 years, and that we would be sending money online to them and they would send us the keys in the mail..... I didn't answer them again, just left it at that. They gave me this number to call with questions (704)584-9587, I didn't call though.

I got 3 text messages from this number didn't ask for code but I called sounded like man with Asian accent told me he would text message me he sent same text for rabbits I have listed and hedgehogs and guinea pigs scammer

I just got a call about my rabbits from this number also (704-584-9587) asking for a code and email from another number. Who ever this is needs to be stopped the other number was 213-224-0595

I also received a text from 704-584-9587 insisting that I give them another phone number they could call to send me a code to make sure I was not a spammer. I told him that they could call me at the number I had listed but they insisted that I give them a cell phone number. When I did not they called but it sounded like a call center. There was a lot of background noise and I could barely hear the person.

I got a call from this number (1704)584-9587 wanting or intrested  in my puppies that i have on craigslist and wanting me to send them a code back to see if I was real.I know something was up so I didn't send them anything,and they stopped insisting but I just didn't like trust them, but I found out they were scanners and called and a man answerd with an accent
