I received the same phone call.  Actually, I receive it quite frequently.  Don't know who it is.

I received a call from this # - claimed he was from ??? Financial (never understood the first word even though he repeated it) he wanted to know my date of birth before he gave me ANY other info about why he was calling.  Of course I didn't give it & he refused to say what he was calling about.  HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS!  Sounds like phishing to me...

Received call from this number.  Not sure who it is but CID shows Healthcare Reso - maybe Healthcare Resources, but I can't find them on the searches without paying for it and I'm not doing that either!  Says don't hang up this is not a sales call; puts you on hold and then I hang up.  Does anyone know who this company is?

Called, robo voice said this is not a sales solicitation please hold for an important message. Of course i didn't :)

704-588-2788 is Sparta Financial, they are a collection service for healthcare providers. They harrass and do not leave messages.

Left strange message with 866 return call number.  Did not identify company or reason for calling.

Got a call from this number for one of our employee's husband who does not work for our company.

7/25 Received two phone calls in one week from 888-213-9688 (Spartan Financial Services) Left a message saying they were trying to collect a debt. I was skeptical considering we have no debt. Called back and no answer or voicemail. Decided to do some digging on this so called company and found out they have many complaints against them. Seems like a scam to me.

This company keeps calling us after we have explained numerous times that we are not who they are looking for.  Today they called again and left a message that they were looking to collect a debt from us and we needed to talk immediately.  I called them back and explained for the 5th time in 2 weeks that we had resolved this and they were NEVER to call my number again because they were at the point of harassment.  We'll see......

NOW they call and PAGE me! If they cannot leave a message..I am not going to call back. I too..have went ahead and called them. I told them they have the wrong number, they quit calling for awhile and start the calls again.

Received a call from 704-588-2788. The voicemail instructed me to call 1-888-213-9688 (Spartan). I called Spartan and asked that my number be removed from their list. They were looking for someone else.

Got a call this morning from 704-588-2788 at 9:02am.  I assumed it was a sales call (despite the "This is not a sales call" message).  Got someone on the line looking for someone with a "similar" name as mine.  I told her she had the wrong number.  I told her my name and asked her who she was...  She then began fishing for information.  I gave none, but explicitly stated to remove my number from their call lists.  Is this some sort of skiptracing to find people who owe money?  And if they owe money, why won't this agency reveal who they are and who they represent?  Sounds suspect.

Received call from 704-588-2788 requesting I call 1-866-558-5107.  After calling the 866 number, caller identified themselves as Spartan Financial (collection agency).  They asked me to verify personal information, when I refused caller said "okay then this will end up on your credit report as a collection" then hung up on me.  I called back to request they put me on their do not call list and got another rep.  He verified some of my personal information without me offering any of it and said the call was in regards to a collection from a local Medical Center.  I requested to received a mailed copy of the collection instead of giving him any information over the phone.  Can't verify if this is legitimate or not yet, however I am sceptical due to the fact that the collection is for Medical services.

This is a residential line.  Someone making calls for a place called Spartan Financial Services (a collection agency).  They have MANY complaints on line in the form of RIP OFF REPORTS!

Got a call from 704-588-2788 today.  Caller ID says Healthcare Reso assume that stands for Resources.  I know that 704 is in North Carolina around Charlotte and the surrounding areas, but I have no idea who these people are.  Recording said that they had a very important phone, not to hang up, and that this is not a sales call.  I hung up after I heard that message.  If they really need to speak to me then they can call in person.  I'm not waiting 20 minutes to see if they have the right number or not!

I too have received calls from this 704-588-2788.  The computer voice requests that you not hang up, that this isn't a telemarketing company. Well, I hang up because I don't know who it is.  When I didn't answer the phone for this number (704-588-2788)a voice mail was left This is not a sales or marketing call but it is important that we speak to you. Please call 1-866-558-5107" and then goes on to list it's office hours.  Well, I will just block this number, and any number associated with it until they identify themselves.  If not, too bad.  I am not in the mood for phone scams.

Received the call requesting I call 888-213-9688. I called spoke to a very Southern lady who asked what number they had called. I told her the number. After a pause and background noise of keyboard, She said they were looking for a "specific person". Said my number had been dialed by mistake and she would take it of the list. Never asked who I was or if i knew the "specific person". Never said who she represented.Other post have stated that this is a collection agency (Spartan Finicial). I can't confirm this.

They are a financial agency out of charlotte. I believe they are called pierce, parker, and associates as well. I have received numerous calls from this number and they have left messages saying it was that group.

I receive calls at all times of the day and night from this number
(704-588-2788) when I answer it is a recording. Have called the numberand they tell me they didn't call me or it was a error in thier system.

called 3 days in a row in the am left message to call an 888-213-9688 number stating this is not a telamarketing call or sales call - it is veryy important and they need to speak to me -- called number and they answered Spartan Financial-- could not find may number on list and then proceeded to try to get personal information. Would not state what there business did.

Have received a call from this number twice in the past 2 days.  When I return the call, a woman identifies the business as "Spartan", and then asks for the number that was called.  She reports that no call was made to the number and then refuses to tell me what kind of business "Spartan" is in.

I got the same thing again today. I have my number in the dnc list, but they still call.

Calls me all the time and never leaves a message when i call back its a recording...weird...stop bugging me...
