This number called me in School. My teacher was ticked. I called it and it said it had been disconnected. If they had answered, then I would have told them off badly. They call again, I am filing for harrassment.
Weird thing is, this is my area code too.

Why is this number calling my phone. Its annoying. I tried to call it back and it said it was no longer in service and they didn't leave a message. What can I do to stop this from happening again?

I just received a call from this number. My cell number begins with "776"-this is harassment! It was a recorded call. When I tried to dial it back from my land line, the message states, "We're sorry, your call cannot be completed as dialed." I am on prepaid cell now because I went back to school. This number needs to be stopped; where/who can we report this to that would do any good?

I got a call from this number just now and I missed it but I called back and it said it wasn't a working number.

Got a call from this "unknown" number too. Didn't answer, as all my contacts have caller ID displayed.

This phone number dialed my phone. I did not recognize, and did not pick up. I googled the number, looked suspicious. Said it was a land line in Monroe, NC. I called the number, and a message said
No longer in service, or has been changed.
There is a growing concern that many of these suspicious numbers are bogus, but could be used
to steal your phone/internet, data, identification.

Was a call to my CELL PHONE from some company about health insurance - offering free quotes. It was not a person - it was an automated recording.
