they called from this number ( Charlotte,NC) asking to settle a debt today. I told them to send me and email with a bill or a letter. They hung up and the same person called back from a different number ( Tupelo, MS). I told them I wasn't going to deal with this over the phone that I would look into it if they sent me a letter or an email. They asked for my email and never sent me a bill. I don't owe any debts

Send them a letter VIA certified mail with return receipt requested copying in your employer that you are not allowed collection calls at work. This is your right under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and if they continue calling and jeopardize your job, you can sue them.

This company has started to call me at my place of employment & it is causing problems for me with management, I have already been given a verbal warning about getting these "personal" phone calls at work. They should only contact me at my home phone: 704-267-6028

called me and left a message stating their name was chris something, and to call them back. i did a reverse phone lookup and it says this number is in north carolina. However, i live in fl. i dont get it!

They must be calling *every* number, even DoNotCall.gov-blocked numbers. They called my home, my cell (2X), my GF's home. We NEVER pick up, but I DO file complaints with DoNotCall.gov -- the Feds charge them $1,100 per violation, so I turn in *every* time that they called, repeatedly.
The calls always stop within a month of turning companies in to DoNotCall.gov.

Got a call from Julian who said he would kill me unless I paid. Reported the CIA to make sure these people never call anyone again.

Bottom feeders who flout the law and harrass anyone who answers the phone, whether they are the right person OR NOT. And they continue to call even after promising that they won't. Franklin Collection Services. Report these sleazes each and every time they call. When you sue them, don't forget to also sue the company who hired them, too. Maybe their business will dry up.
