I'm at work just got a call from this # calling re: my alarm at home going off.
My husband set off the alarm but not sure why they didnt call the house # first.  I'm at work and couldnt answer the call.
An alarm is a good thing to have so if you set it off in error once in a while at least you know its working when the police show up when you dont answer the phone...

This company called my number four times yesterday and twice so far today. I have never had any dealings with them

This is Security Central Inc., out of North Carolina. There an alarm monitoring company. They call if you are on a call list for an alarm system.

We receive a call from 704-838-8000 Central Station every day.  We do not want them calling our number unless they want to start paying our phone bill.  Can the government stop these types of calls?

I tried seveal times to call them back.  No answer.

They called twice after 12:30 a.m., waking us up.  This is out of line.  If I can find out who and where they are I'm going to shove a telephone down someone's throat.

It is a security alarm company. I called them back and found out someone had given them my number by mistake. They immediately removed my number.

Called me several times today. I live in Tenn. calls coming from North Carolina, to my cell phone. I am not on anyone list do not have any kind of alarm system except the one I will use. Ask them to stop calling didn't help. They contined to call  five (5) more times after that. And I am not interested in buying anything they have to sell. What part of  "STOP" don't they understand.

They have been calling me for over a year now. I have asked multiple times to be taken off the list- No one has listed me as their contact for an alarm system going off! I LIVE with my family, and I'm one of the children, so no one is going to have me listed as the person to call if something like this happens. It's getting really annoying. They will not take me off their call list and I don't know why! Most of the time, I don't even answer because I know it's not going to do any good.

This number called my cell phone at 2:45 am this morning.    No message was left.   At Noon today I called the number and a recording answered:  "Security Central,  one moment for an operator."  No operator ever answered.  Hence...........just another scam!   At 2:45 am ??   DISGUSTING!!

Missed call at almost 5 am. Saw it was a security co, called back, found out I'm listed for my parents' burglar alarm, which had gone off. Called mom (who was on vacation at the time), and she said she'd just heard from the local sheriff en route to check on things. Seems like a legit call to me. If you get a call from this number, I'd answer it!

I received a phone call from this phone number today. They did not leave a message though.I thought it was odd for this phone number to show up on my cell phone. Any important people are programmed in my phone already. I am on the Do Not Call List for my cell phone..

Got a missed call showing 704-838-8000 at 7:03 am Eastern Daylight Time.  I don't respond to missed calls unless I recognize the number.

It's a call center for people who have Alarm Services... Their call center is based in NC but they provide services all over the US... If they are calling in the middle of the night some ones alarm must have been tripped and you are the emergency contact. If you answer the phone or call them back they will tell you... My grandmother has life alert and her box was tripped... They aren't going to leave a message cause they are trying to get some one to respond

If you call them and give them your number they will tell you who you are listed for... Have them call the person and update their emergency contact... They may just have a wrong number on file. The call center is located in NC... But the service is provided all over the US

Got a call at 4 in the morning. EVERYONE THIS IS A SECURITY ALARM COMPANY. The reason we got a call in the morning is our front door was not locked correctly and the door flew open with the high winds. Scared the crap out of me. They called on our home phone and the caller I.D. said "North Carolina" and called on my husband's cell phone and it just listed the phone number. For some reason this Call Type on this website won't let me add that it is a legit call.

I get a call from this number occasionally, usually late at night after midnight. Great website to read it's probably a security co. My ex husband must have me as a contact. Glad I didn't answer now!

It IS an ALARM COMPANY..the one my church uses here in Houston..they just called me to report that the alarm at our church was activated

This company is in NC and I live in MD - yet they won't stop calling me.  I'm not a contact for anyone's alarm system.

This number WILL NOT STOP CALLING me at all hours of the night!!! I have a two year old!!! STOP CALLING!!! Please help!!!

After reading this I called them back. The answered "security central", I gave them my phone number and they asked for my name which I provided and they told me that the alarm at my sisters had went off...

I just don't answer a number unless I know who it is...

This is not a telemarketer.  It's an alarm company calling because you're listed on an alarm owner's contact list, and the alarm went off.

number called at 10:31pm central time last night.  Caller ID says "Central Station"

This is a home security monitoring company, If you got a call from this # you have been put on a contact list as a person to call when their home or business alarm goes off. This is not a telemarketer. If you call them back they can tell you why they called by looking at your phone #.

someone called me from this # @ 3:00 in the morning.

It's Life Alert calling because someone has pushed their button.  Find out who has you down as a contact person and have them either remove you, or call the company and remove yourself.

Received 2 calls from this number, one on 3/21 and one on 3/22.  I am not listed on anyone's alarm contract as a contract number.  I recently disconnected alarm services with a horrible company that put us under contract without telling us.  Does anyone know what Alarm company this call is related?
