If your phone doesn't have a "number block" feature, you may want to invest in a call blocker.  Google "call blockers" - you can get a good one for $60 or less.

they call said they were taking me to court the papers were file is what they said. had a friend fine out it was a scam.i have been in and out of the hosp.had open heart surgery and they put in a pump that keeps me going.the people that call are from north carlina center so a big scam. whatch out all.

I hate these people, nothing but scammers who can't find a real job. They stop calling then start again in a few months. I ingnore and report and report and ignore. Nothing ever happens to them because they use fake numbers.

I received the same thing...scammers...they are relentless.

i to received 2 phone calls stating the same thing. i just called the number and it is a middle man   for a company called cash smart.  never heard of them.  ssying i took out a loan for 731.19.   all they want is the money. i asked for proof.  i have had 2 strokes and i never remember that name..  i tried to tell her that it did not show up  on my bank account  and all she said was see you in court

It's a scam - and an old one at that.  DO NOT return the call or answer it.

Received a recorded message (3 within 10min) from what appeared to be a local number but the return number was 704-886-0994.  I have fallen prey to these types of scammers in the past and do not intend on calling back but was wondering if anyone else had been contacted by this company.  If so, is it legititmate?

Here is the message left "Steve here in the office to complete a service of process for you to appear in court before Judge. So at this point of time it is your legal right to contact the plaintiff prior to your order being submitted over to the
county they can be reached at 7048860994. Failure to comply can result in a dispatch of the proper authorities either at your place of employment or your place of residence but the record show that you have officially been notified. Good luck."
