Post ads up for them on Craigslist or put cardboard signs up on telephone poles, since those can't be taken down easily, and CL ads go down pretty quick once the company catches on and tells people to flag the ad. Get THEIR phones rining off the hooks, post those signs for cheap rent!

It's from an auto-dialer, from Senior Safe Alert. If you want to have some fun, post up a few ads for them in return for really low rent in ebonic speaking areas, or place ads that your "auto dialer" office is moving and you need things moved. In all cases, make sure to reference either auto-dialers or Senior Safe Alert so they know the ads were placed in retribution for them calling 20,000 of us every day. Like, "Senior Safe Alert is offering reduced rent on your home, for just $495/mo." That should get their phones ringing. Their office number that they don't want you to have, is 800-717-9295. You can also call them at the number posted on their web site, seniorSafeAlert.com

Will not stop calling - Have asked over and over. Claim to be J. Gram and Assoc. sometimes calls and only lets it ring twice and then doesn't ever leave message, when you talk to them, they threaten you with credit reporting and jail.

I believe the number is a collection agency. They buy very old debt, contact people with similar names, and then try to get you to pay a debt that may not be yours or debt that is too old to collect on. NEVER give your social security number to these people. Tell them not to contact you by phone again. Then have them send you the information they say they have on you. Once you get the information, write back via certified letter and have them "verify" that the information is in fact yours. Ask for the signature and original application and verification that they in fact own the debt. State they may not contact you via phone again. Most of the time they will not come up with the information. Also include in the letter that they must remove any negative marks on your credit report if they cannot verify according to the fair credit reporting act. Again, I stress, DO NOT give them your social security number - EVER!
I've dealt with this company before because my identity was stolen over 20 years ago by someone I knew and every once in awhile I still have to deal with this old debt that was never mine to begin with.

I've received two calls in two weeks from this number and have not answered either. I don't know anyone in 704, so I let it ring. No messages were left. I've had my number for almost 4 years, so whomever had it before may be who theyu're seeking, but it ain't me, babe.

As others have said here they buy old debts and try to make you pay them even if they are past the statory time limit. In my case they keep trying to collect for a bebt that I never created in the first place. The sell old paper from one agency to another and like the bottom dewellers they are they try to feed off the innocent. I have called the Atty General of our state. He says they are investigating.

Keep getting calls from this number about 2-3 times a week... no messages left. So I called them back. (THAT WAS A MISTAKE!).
They say they are are J. Gram and Assoc. (Collections) and they claim ownership of other Collections previous claim. In other-words these dirty crooks buy unpaid collections from each other, over and over, each putting marks on your credit report every so many years until you break. This should be outlawed!!!
This all started from credit card fraud, but I was not notified of it for 2 years. The first collections did not prove ownership of account nor what original charges were for... 2 years later placed bad mark on my report. A year ago, another company wanted to help me with it if I pay them, but the original collections would not be paid... Now this new crook is claiming ownership.

Called a few times; no message.

Called me looking for someone else, definitely from a call-center environment (could hear the noise in the background). Mentioned a name that sounded like Lloyd Worthy(?), left a message to call an 877 number. I'm thinking this is a bill collector of some sort.

Only rings my phone once. I have no idea who it is. When I call back it says all our reps are busy.

A man called me and was very, very, rude from this number, demanding payment...tried to say i had recently set up payments out of an account I no longer had..Seems to me like someone or some people are somehow snooping around and getting information and making false statements..They need to be stopped...

Got a call from this number, didn't leave a message. Called it back and a woman answered the phone almost shouting so I couldn't understand what she said at all. I didn't say anything for a few seconds so she just hung up.

It is JTL Incorporated. Another low life collecting company. 704-941-1001 . THEY BOUGHT SOME OLD DEBT, WHICH THEY WILL NOT EVER COLLECT, AND PASS IT ON TO ANOTHER DEBT COLLECTOR. WHO NOT COLLECT EITHER. It does produce jobs for Americans. Don't know if that is good or not. Some even sell judgements, because they can even collect if they win in court. What a big joke...

No message left...
| vaha 2011-06-06 20:55:01 Unknown |
The best way to fight this is to ask for there mailing address and send a certified letter to them asking for proof of the debit. You will never hear from them again.
