Got a call at work asking if I was still the owner. I told the loud, rude, and unintelligable voice on the other end that I was the general manager and that the owner did not work out of this office. She hung up. Called the number back but there was no answer on their end.

Got the call on call waiting. I never answer call waiting - that's what a busy signal was invented for. But I looked it up and found this:

I have documented the receipt of a call from the number 704-970-1942 every day for the past two weeks. Unable to directly figure out who is calling, since the name does not show up. But I was told to file a police report after it happens three times and the police can back trace it and I can get harrassment charges against the owner of the phone line, which I am now going to do.

Caller hangs up. Returned call and no answer, just a recording saying,
"Your party does not answer. Try your call again later. This number is now hanging up."
It's very annoying when we are busy working, trying to make a living and have people call who obviously have nothing to do. Get a job or do something constructive with your time.

Got a call from this number today asking for 'the owner'. When I would not let him through and told him we do not accept sales calls, was told "tell her it's about the data security system, she'll know who it is". When I informed him that we laready have security systems in place, I was then told "That's okay, I have her cell number". NO, he does not!! He did compliment me for being "good at keeping me away from the boss". Yes, that's my job. :-)

got a call from a n carolina number, there was a man on the line asking to talk to the owner, told him that he was not available, asked for someone else who would help, i instructed him that that there was only one person who could help him and he got ticked off, very rudly then asked when will he be available i told him next week and dude hung up on me.

I e-mailed the cs@encoreps.com to get back to me on there customer service. A man by the name of Mathew Helms e-mailed back, he is "Operations Manager".
It might not get anywhere, but maybe if we give him the same treatement as his coworkers: he might understand our frustration.

This is unaccepatable for a domestic business, scam or not. With all the complaints i see a potential for a class action suit. These calls cost businesses money in time waisted. I ask desperatly SOMEONE do something. Complaining is getting us no results. Lets take action.

I answer the phone ( Caller ID - Charrolett NC )I say the normal business answer line. Then there is a delayed answer and a womans voice that asks for the owner first thing. I informed her the owner was unavailable, and asked what I could help with. She asked if I was an owner. I informed her I was in a managment position. She abruptly said "I'll call back." and hung up on herself saying "back".
Never informed me who was calling or why, and did not allow me time or space to ask and questions either.
