Caller ID shows North Carolina. When I answer no one is there, just a lot of background noise. I get this call every day around 6:30 p.m.

Looking at my caller ID, we are receiving at least 5 calls a day from this number. We are originally from NC and thought perhaps it was some long lost relative/friends but there is never a message left. Having read the posts, I now know it's Discover Card. I'm so fed up with that company, I plan to call today and have them cancel my account. Why in the world would they provide my information to 3rd party solicitors... especially solicitors that hang up when you answer?

I have been getting multiple calls a day from this number. I have contacted discover and they have said that it is a third party solicitor. If you call 800 discover, they can update your account so they won't share information with third parties and will not solicit you.

Same here they call several times a day. They do not leave any message.
I answered a few times and no one was there.
Have not tried to call them back yet.

They call a few times a day, at least twice after my daughters go to bed at 8pm. Ridiculous.

I just called them back... it is Discover wanted me to get PROTECTION for my lost or stolen cards. Just request to be removed from their list.

This thing calls me once a day between 7:00 and 9:00 (GMT-7), and hangs up on me. Discover either has a broken autodialer, or they really have their head up their a***.

Just received call from 704-970-1950. I've noticed this number pop up on my caller ID. It's also from North Carolina.
Haven't the slightest idea who it is. Nobody in my family knows anyone from there.
