So I got a call yesterday asking me the 4 "pre screening" questions.  I happened to "qualify" for their assistance to help reduce my debt by brining interest rates on my credit cards down to 5%.
When I asked for more information on how this is done, I was told that I would get a call back later and that person who called me back would be able to tell me.
So, I got that call back, and when I asked who I was speaking with, he said "Jim" and kept asking me if I was Mrs. "****" and I never confirmed my name. I asked again, "Jim from where" and he just said "Jim" and I lost my patience and said, "JIM WHO!" and he hung up. That's when I googled this number 704 992 9044 and saw several posts about it.
I wish I never spoke to that initial person (female) who asked me those pre screening questions. I NEVER talk to these kinds of people, and I don't know what made me talk to her. I'm angry with myself, and I want to rip this guy's head off too.  IF YOU READ THIS JIM, YOU'RE A PIECE OF SH**!

This guy started to talk to my wife about a week ago.  Finally got down to asking for a $1000 to reduce our interest rate and could put the fee on a credit card.  My wife then dumped the call.
Scary stuff.  This has to be illegal.

Answered the call.  I asked him for information on how they reduce the credit.  Asked me to get pen and paper.  Told him I got it.  Asked me again.  Told him I got it.  Then he gave me his name as James Kopish.  Then asked me how to spell his name.  I said K-o-p-i-s-h.  Then he asked if I had pen and paper.  I laid into him and told me how the F*&k was I supposed to know how to spell his name and what an assigned question that was.  Then I hung up and blocked his phone number from further calls.  They should not be calling if you are on the no-call list.  I'm reporting them.

I have been getting phone calls from 704-992-9044 for at least three weeks. I had never answered th e calls. Due to being too busy. When I seen that it was a missed call. I would call back and no one would answer. On Oct 10th I got tired of them calling me and decided to answer the call. The person on the other end of the phone asked for me by name. When I answered, they hung up the phone. I wish someone could file charges against this person. He is a punk!

How is it that the Arizona State police and Federal Government agencies don't trace this scumbag's phone number and go where he is located and arrest him ???

Is he operating out of a prison, and they are all getting their cut?

I did not answer starting the second day.  The second day they started calling with different phone numbers and when I facebooked them this is what I found.  All they want is your credit card numbers, balances, interest rates etc and then they will rip you off is what I am guessing.

I just got a phone call from this same number as well, 704-992-9044. This is the 5th call I have gotten in the last couple weeks, I have gotten calls from Rhode Island, LA and South Carolina. I am starting to get a little sick of this crap, very irritating.

I got several call this last week something about reducing debt and interest rates on credit cards, They stated that it was something the Federal Gov. approved. All attempts to  have a full conversation was impossible I kept getting disconnected. I don't trust this number or any that want account information.

I got one phone call from 509-492-4662 to let me know about a program to help me reduce my credit card interest rates.  They have four questions to "pre-screen" me.  1.  Did I have at least $7000 in credit card debt?  2.  Did I have some interest rates of 10% or more?  3.  Am I current on all my credit card payments and 4.  I don't remember.  Apparently, I answered "correctly" and was told that an "account specialist" would call me back with more information.  The call back was about 15 minutes later from this phone number: 704-992-9044, with the caller ID of Jamie Kopish.  After introducing himself as Jim Kopish from Sovereign Financial and telling me that he can lower my credit card interest rates, he asked how much credit credit debt I have.  I told him that I'd like to learn more about the program before I told him any more information.  He immediately hung up.  I thought that it might have been a mistake and the phone disconnected by accident.  He never called back.  That's when I Goggled his phone number and found this thread.  I also Googled Jamie Kopish and found a long thread of complaints using this phone number: 704-274-9573.

i have been reached by Kopish before. Claimed he worked for east financial. this time once again was called by someone else first, claiming to be sovereign company. first name and number were C. Swedzinska at 310-318-9930. then an 800 number to which i did not answer and the kopish at 704-922-9044 who hung up on me when I asked a question.
