Reading these posts I can't help but wonder if you all are not in the same town and maybe are all known to this person.  Hell, you may even know each other and not realize it....

Just wondering if there was a common thread to those that are targeted by this bee-otch.
Same town, in phone book, all Facebook friends of a common person ect?  I dunno, just a thought.

Some lady called my home last night around 7:20 and asked for my husband by name.  Since my husband hates talking on the phone, I told her that he wasn't available and for her number and if I could take a message and she hung up on me.  If she calls again tonight I am going to give her a piece of my mind.

Just got another call again today! Same number! Yesterday I called AT&T and told them to put me on the do not call list. Guess it didn't help. Cussed at them in Spanish. It was a female that answered this time. Hasta be a political motivation because I am on the no call list.

This number has called my house repeatedly.  We don't answer it.  I, too, am on the No Call List.  The display reads 7763424:7051752 705-175-2442.  When the answering machine picks up, they hang up.

They have a place to report abandoned calls (when you answer they hang up without telling you who they are) and war dialing (calling every number looking for fax machines.)
They don't do anything about individual cases but the more people are complaining about a particular number or a particular company the more likely they are to try to shut them down. (Even if it is a lot like a game of whack-a-mole)

Received 2 calls from this number on my cell.  I checked the number on the whycall.me website and the location was hidden.  I, like all of you are on the do not call list.  Telemarketers and scammers could care less if you are on that list or not.  The telephone companies that allow these people to set up anywhere is also to blame.  I never called the number back, but I am going to block it on my cell and report them to the donotcall.org anyway.

Called me again today! One time yesterday too! Who the heck is this?!

Received the call twice today. First time I answered no one replied to my hello, clicked and then dial tone. Second time they called I didn't answer and they didn't even wait for voicemail. Shows up as Unknown Name and when called the number back it says the number is no longer in service.

Les is correct, "FYI - if it is a political opinion poll and legit I think they are exempt from do not call.  If they are in Ontario they are exempt because they are not in US.". Unfortunately, they keep calling back overand over and with different tel#'s. The problem is, I havealready blocked my alloted 30 numbers on my phone. I now have to delete old blocked numbers to add these new one in. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I got a call from this number asking for my brother.  I told them it wasn't his number.  "Oh should I call back later then?"  morons.  Telemarketing should be considered harassment and illegal

Number called me at almost 9pm when I live in Oregon from Canada. Asked if I was "mike". I said it depends on who this is. Replies with "I'm not tryin to sell you anything". Asked who they were and then they hung up on me

Called at 9;20 pm. My child is in bed by then. Not too happy. Harrassing

Call came in at 9:12 pm. Caller ID gave phone # and said unavailable. Obvious background noise of a call center. No one responded to my hello.  Second call in a week.

Received call at 9:05PM.   Did not answer.   No message left.   Not the first time and never a message.

Air horns are legal in the US.  Not sure about Canada.

Received call AFTER 9pm, told the guy it was too late.... whatever, he said he would call "earlier" next time!

REc'd a call at 9:45 PM---late, most people don't call at that time. He asked for Brian.  When I said "you have the wrong phone #" he mumbled something and hung up. This, too, was from Ontario.

Another call came in tonight, and asked for my daughter. I am wondering if they are targeting newly registered voters. She's away at college. The guy who called was nice for a change, and I told him she no longer lives here, and asked if she could be removed from the list. He apologized and said he'd see what he could do.

Some man called my house asking for my daughter. Sound stupid. No call back # caller id said Ontario.

Calls constantly and does not leave a message. I tried to redial the number and I get a recording stating there a troubles with the phone company and my call can't be completed at this time.

They called three times yesterday and hung up on our answering machine. We received another call from this number at 9:09 p.m. last night asking for my spouse. (After my kids and I were already in bed!) Since we don't know anybody in Ontario, I asked to take a message. The guy said his name was Mike with M.Y.S. First of all, we're on the Do Not Call list. Secondly, it's illegal to call after 9:00 p.m. I'll be turning this company in to the FTC, BBB, attorney general and any other official agency I can think of to get them shut down for harassment and breaking the law by calling too late.

Just called my cell phone and it was 9:05 pm. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. It's really frustrating that these people can get around the laws! Yes you can turn them in but they just use different numbers.

I also received 3 calls from this number today. I answered the last, and the guy mumbled something and hung up. I guess like May said, they have met their female quota, no need to talk to me!  I just registered my complaint with the FCC. I would recommend everyone doing the same. I am very tired of getting unsolicited calls when I am listed on the do not call register!

This number called me and called me by my first name. Said they were with MRS and was conducting a political survey. They asked if I planed to vote in the upcoming election and when I said yes, the woman said the female quota had been filled and she would have to call me in the near future. There was A LOT of noise in the back ground also.

Also phone number seems "not to be active"

Called and asked to asked a political survey.  Shortly after this declared that they had "just met their female quotient".  I asked on whose behalf they were calling (they are required to provide that information uder FEC rules.  Refused to give the information, hung up.  Looking at how to file an FEC complaint.

This number called my father's house twice and asked for me, however I've never lived there and don't receive mail there so I cannot imagine why they would ever ask for me to begin with!  The whole thing is very suspicious.  I've also never seen the caller ID list a bunch of numbers either, but it had this:

this man keeps calling from this number asking for my daughter. the last time he called just about 10 min ago i told him he had been reported. did a reverse call and it had been dis continued fancy that!!!
