A call from this number means that Canada Bell is allowing our phone numbers to be used. The reason they give our numbers out to scammers is due to their inability to attract us back as their customer.

I got a call from this number a few times. One just 10 minutes ago

me too at 1:07 am they called during the night.... answered and no one responded.

Called my house at 12:10 am repeatedly for the next hour, I setup phasers to stun and lived long and prospered.

Got a call at 1:11p.m. this morning. Not very pleased.

I received a call today from this number. I picked up and there  a British female recording started  blabbering about credit. I hung up.  I am in  Toronto.

they call me today, from the 705 242 8669 .I click on #1 for more information. the guymasked me how much I have on my credit card.When I ask why he closed the line.

Hi, I got a call from the same number 705-242-8669. I did follow the prompt #1 to speak with an agent. Obviously it is a harassing call. I never applied for credit card low interest rate, and I was told I am not qualified for the low interest rate.

I said I never applied for, why do they bother to tell this, the man (agent) hung up the phone without further explanation. This is to tell me this is a harassing, not a real service. I dial the number, and I got a voicemail, and the mailbox is full.

This is not an isolated harassing incident, it is definitely a harassment.
Anybody who got the same call, can you relate your situation with any harassing clue?

You're close, however that is not EXACTLY how Majic Jack works.  Numbers CAN be permanently assigned, and VM IS available.  The "pool" of numbers that are assigned to random Magic Jack users are often area code 011 XXX XXXX.......so ya...just so you know.

Magic jack customers use all different kinds of numbers doesn't mean it's a telemarketer the number floats and when a client uses the magic jack first come first serve for number usually can't leave a message so yeah just so u know

I also keep getting calls from 514-613-1739 and they don't say anything.  Who are they???

well....I got a call from this number today and one from 514-613-1739 yesterday about the same time of day ....also was iristel when I checked it. I blocked the first number and now get this call. My bet is it's the same company (AKA criminals) just switching to a different number when they get blocked.

Looks like it came from Harper's Collision in Orillia, Ontario in an industrial park area. Address 121 Norweld Drive using IRISTEL INC as the phone company.

Received a call and they did not leave a message!

Just got a call on my land line from this number, didn't answer.  Called back on my pay as you go cell, and after about 15 seconds of silence, a recording saying the magic jack customer is not available.  Most likely a scam!
