no answer, they keep calling, terrible nuisance and  wasting my time.

I got a call from 1 905 632 1202.... when I blocked the last call the number came up 705 444 2886....!!!!

Selling time shares, I wasted nearly 6grand on this, don't get involved.

They call, I answer, they say nothing, they hang up = annoying!

Some sort of Travel thing involving a seminar. Don't bother picking up

705-444-2286 called just now and when I answered it they didn't answer me when I said hello. There was a pause and I could hear other people in the back ground and they still wouldn't talk when I kept saying hello. When I search the number it shows the number cannot be found.

Get rid of Bell! You and I both know that they have been ripping us off for years. Now that they are losing money from there land line system they are looking for new ways to get you. eg. call blocking. Join the people at Primus. When a soliciter calls, you just type in *44 to block that number. Easy.

I get these calls daily many times a day. starts to say with a bunch of numbers to press to get them then there is nothing when you do. I get so many calls I recognize now and turn off volume. its annoying needs to stop,

I got the same call from 1705 444 2886 and i told him to go take a boat

I finally answered the call. They are Cranberry Resort. The woman I spoke to was pleasant and understanding when I asked to be removed from their list.

call Tim Fitzpatrick at 1 800 465-9077 ext 258 to complain, enough calls shoud sink his ship

blog it, more people who see this wont spend a dime at Cranberry Resort collingwood

Better idea, user any and all sites on the web to advertize this problem, no one will tend to do business with companies who operate in this manner.
Start a blog, headed with their company name, when someone googles it the blog will appear.

Since this problem dates back several years they are unlikely to change until pressure is brought to bare on them, lost sales would be the strongest motivation to operate in a proper ethical business manner.

I called Bell in response to these calls from 705 444-2886 and got 1 mo free call blocking,(if it works).

Class action suit sounds appropriate in this instance.

Possibly a crowd of disgruntled recipients of their calls to show up at their resort????

Someone with some computer savvy could crash their system ending this harrassment,

I finally took matters into my own hand and actually read some of the stuff in the Bell directory, very helpful.  Call screen allows you to block up to 12 callers, easy to use & effective.  Dial *60 and follow the prompts.  Only shortcoming is you are only allowed 12 numbers to block.

Idiots.  Who really believes, nowadays, that cold-calling is going to bring in new business?  Or, are they simply fishing for "live" phone numbers so they can then sell those lists overseas?  Either way, they're a pain in the a**, and I will NEVER do business with them.

I have received this call for several times after Christmas. I called back and get no response. Does anybody know how to block this kind of unknown number?

i made an account with dell voice, i choose the same area code as these telemarketers. i asked them to put me on their " CALL ME LIST ". and whenever they call, i talk to them for atleast 30-45 minutes. they called me twice sfter that i never got a call from them again. im sure they figured that im just wasting thier time. since i kept asking them to explain ALL the  details of the offer and like the fine print. i put them on speaker phone while i do my dishes or laundry, or whle i poop, i let them hear when i flush. good times.

I spoke with someone from the cranberry resort and i told them to take my number off their contact  list.
She said fine. I then told her that their approach for selling was very harrassing and annoying. She also told me that the number 705-444-2886 was only an outbound number and did not recieve calls. Hope this hrlps! and put a rest to the annoying pone calls.

GET THE SAME CALLS  !!!!!!!!

I stupidly accepted one of their invitations to their resort in Collingwood.   The entire process was a scam that pushes agressively to buy into their Time Shares...They have 3 locations, but 2 are in the same Collingwood area.  The other is in the Carribean somewhere.

The units are beautiful, but Time Share price is incredibly overpriced.  Sales are more geared towards buying their units, but market worldwide travel through an association.  The trial they provide you are older units (not yet under renovation).   So you cannot even try the beautiful display model rooms.

If you choose to turn down their offer, they get really pissed off at the decision.   We wondered if they would ever let us leave or charge us for the supposed free stay.  

Don't GO!   This is not a scam...but very close.  Not worth the misery of dealing with these aggressive people selling you units that offer little use.  

ps  They market owning a golf course...it's actually a Mini Golf and you have to pay to play.

They call, don't leave a message, don't answer when I pick up, and I want them to stop.

I just spoke to  a great guy called Tim  at their marketing department. The govt allows what they call  a 3% "abandon" rate which means the machine can keep  hanging up on  you.
Call  800  465 9077 and ask  for their marketing department. They will  either remove from  the list- or in my case,  as I was actually looking to  spend a weekend there-  they credited me with  another $20 in meal  vouchers for the trouble!
Sometimes its not so bad!

I don't answer calls from unknown , so I don't know whom is calling you would think they would give up after a while when there is no response.
